What is the Reason you Bought the iPhone 4S

My reasons:
White (Currently have black)
32GB (Currently have 16GB)
Camera
Siri
Retina Display
New Design (I have a 3GS)
New speaker (I know it's not "new" but my 3GS speaker doesn't really work anymore)
Spec bumps
Because my sister has an iPhone 4 and I want to rub it in her face that her phone is inferior to mine.

1) I wanted 64gb bcs 32gb is not enough anymore
2)battery seems to be getting worse on my iphone 4.
3) resale value of 4 is much better now then it will be next year

For everybody upgrading from a 3G and 3GS, I can tell you the single greatest thing about upgrading to the iPhone 4S is the Retina Display. Once you see it, you'll never want to go back to a pixelated display again.

Been eligible for an upgrade on VZW for more than a year and was waiting for the successor to the iP4 before renewing the contract. Been switching between my OG Droid and Bold 9650 the last two years and finally want to experience iOS! Got matching 32 GB iP4S black for me and my bro who will be first time iPhone users! Siri, the better camera, and iOS5 is just icing on the cake!

Because I currently own a Droid 1 from Motorola... need I have any more reason than that? hahaha... it's such a POS, I can't wait to be rid of the thing!

Same reason here haha. I'm attempting to sell it to some sucker on ebay.

Barely

It's faster and has siri but thats it...hardly alot to shout about to be honest. It's an updated verision not something that is much better than the 4.

1. Camera - my twins move too fast for the i4 camera to open lol.
2. Airplay mirroring - pretty cool with apple tv, would use it a lot for FaceTime.
3. Antenna upgrade and faster speed on At&t.
4. Siri
4. Overall speed enhancement.
5. I have turned into a sheep lol.

I know, but she's not tech savvy and I'm going to make it seem like it's the best thing in the world.

What else could it have had?!

We knew there wasn't going to be LTE and screen size is simply individual preference.

Had no choice, my wife dropped her iPhone 4, and we all know how fragile the glass is. Chalk that up to poor choice of materials. Otherwise we like iPhones.

Pretty much because of the camera and processor. And I wanted a white iPhone but wasn't going to buy another 4 without it at least having a better processor.

pretty much because i never had an iphone before
i had windows, blackberry, android .... only thing i never tried was IOS ... so here we go ... i finally get to ... thanks sprint for finally getting ... but i dont appreciate all the changes u do with our customers to get it.

Well yeah it is still the best smart phone around didn't mean for it to sound like i was saying it isn't a great phone.

It will be great to see as it will be very fast and siri will be clever to use but for me it isn't better by enough for me to pay £500 but for people like yourself who had a 3GS It's a great upgrade.

A new phone basically.

A new design and a bigger screen would make it worth it for me to upgrade...problem is it looks the same as the 4 and is basically quicker, better camera and has siri...to me thats not worth upgrading and spending £500...

3GS was my first iPhone and I've been using it for a lil over 2 yrs (contract ended last month) so just want to upgrade to the latest one for a faster processor and better screen (iOS4.3.3 on 3GS is kind of laggy)

Was really hoping that they would've made the screen 3.7-3.9" but oh well

I'm buying because;

Better camera is always a big deal for me, and it looks like this time around I might actually be able to leave my real camera at home 99% of the time. I'm not a pro photographer or anything but I like to take nice pictures. It looks like the 4S has virtually all conditions down.

1080 video- don't need it but I'd love to have it.

Better processor and double the storage, plus "4G" speeds with ATT means we might see some sweet apps around the corner.

I'm gonna be doing a lot of traveling in 2012 and I'm hoping the 4S will serve as the only gadget I need to bring with me. Lots of space for storing the pics and videos I'll be taking is a nice thing for me.

Siri- I don't know yet. I think it looks cool, and I drive stick so it might really come in handy. It's not WHY I decided to get a 4S but I hope it comes in handy when I'm on the road.

Speed, Camera, iOS5, Siri, 64GB, White day 1.

Also my first iPhone so I'm not gonna settle for something that isn't the best:D.

Yeah, so you just want it to look different. It's already stunning, and far better looking (I know, it's subjective) than any other phone out there. They shouldn't just change it for the sake of changing it. They upgraded everything.

I'm not planning on getting one. I'm going to wait out for the iPhone 5. I mean, I just got the iPhone 4 last week.

Going from 4 to 4s

Excited for the faster graphics and processing power.

I am fascinated by SIRI and the ability to transcribe notes between patients will be fantastic if it works as advertised.

1) SIRI! At first I was unimpressed, but after watching the keynote.... amazing! Don't know how much I will actually use it after the newness wears off, but I imagine it will only continue to grow.

And, I love the "Set my alarm for 4:45 am tomorrow." I wonder how long it will take before I just trust it. I imagine I will be verifying for awhile.

In the keynote, they showed this feature. When you set an alarm through Siri, it pops up with the time and a 'ON' switch to confirm that its been set. No need for later verification :p

If you really got an iPhone 4 last week, would I be correct to assume you live under a rock? Why would you spend 200 dollars (I'm assuming again) on a 4 when a week ago we knew there was going to be a new phone announcement on the 4th? Makes no sense.
