What is the significance of your avatar/profile pic?

It's a seasonal one now.

I've been making graphs for the statistics thread, so decided to play around with the PDF-generator some more. I had a bug in how the mouth was rendering (it's a single-spline closed path), so for debugging purposes I added a red outline (technically, the PDF stroke color) with no fill. When it finally rendered correctly and I added the fill color, it reminded me of The Joker, so I kept it.

I shall call him: Joker-lantern.


To get geeky, here's the section of PDF that renders the mouth:

As for my avatar, I owe you a debt of thanks for it, a stylish representation of a coffee cup which reflects my love of coffee, and the sheer unadulterated pleasure I take from imbibing a cup of (good) coffee.

Yours was, is, and will always be the most soothing and calming avatar on the entire forum. It's more than zen-like, it's transcendental in its purest, yet practical form. In one word, it's... coffee.
