Some German mustards can be quite sweet
There are very different tastes of mustard here in Germany. I think we can speak of some kind of "mustard borders".

Translation of the text:

Mustard consumption: regional differences
Medium-hot in the East, hot mustard in the West and sweet mustard in Southern Germany.

This might be basically true but Aldi sells a mustard that is labeled as medium-hot but tastes more hot.

I dined out with friends in an award winning restaurant last night.

We feasted on sautéed halibut, served with baked potatoes and aioli, and lightly curried romanesco, all washed down with a lovely white wine from the Loire region.
