You ordered from Apple directly right? Don't worry its rare that apple doesn't deliver on estimated date.
I'm kinda in the same boat (but from Egypt) but Adorama delivery was delayed so now I'll have to wait a month and half for my new Macbook instead of getting it today

One of my friends is getting it for me from Canada (I'm from India.) So, basically my laptop has gone from Shanghai, to Alaska, to Kentucky, to Ohio, then New York, then Ontario. It will then go to Dubai, and then finally India 😂😂😂

It's fine. I decided I could use the time to clean my old devices so I can be ready to sell them as soon as I get the 16' anyway 😄
They just released the 16' prices here in Egypt but no BTOs like India and I ended up getting the 2.3/8Core one with upgraded 32GB and 8GB for the same price like they want for the base 6 cores model here so its all good.

Ordered custom config on the 14th and delivered on the 18th. Original estimate was the 27th.

Even though I have other Apple products, I bought my firts computer on Saturday 14th. It’s a MBP 16, 2.3GHz with 32GB of Ram, the 5500M 8GB and 1TB.
It changed to shipped yesterday morning and I got the DHL tracking number which says it will be send from Eindhoven (after coming from China I presume). Delivery date changed from 30th-3rd to 25th which is xmas day so I don’t think it will be delivered on that day. Do you guys think I’ll have it on the 24th or before? It has to be delivered in Spain.
I really can’t wait!!!

A lot of delivery companies work on Xmas day, so hope your are there to receive it.

Just curious, but why not have it delivered direct to India?
Apple doesn't deliver custom configs to India. It only has the base models which are in the store. Also direct shipping to India from a foreign website would mean extra customs, works out cheaper this way
