I just order my 16" MBP 1TB, 2.3GHz i9, 32 GB SSD. So everything is the standard "stocked" configuration, except for the 32 GB of memory. My delivery date is Dec 5. What are others getting for their delivery dates?

BTO 2.3 GHZ I9 1 TB 32 Ram arriving November 21-25th. Still order in progress. Tempted to go to Apple store and see what configurations they have in stock.

I ordered this configuration: 2.3 ghz i9, 2 TB storage, 64 GB RAM, 8 GB GPU. My delivery date is a range between November 27th and December 2nd.

  • AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 8GB of GDDR6 memory
  • 64GB 2666MHz DDR4 memory
  • 1TB SSD storage

Only saw standard shipping here, unless I missed it. Due Dec 2nd-4th

No card charged yet but from what I’ve heard this gets charged near dispatch and I suspect it will happen near end of next week.
A long wait ahead. So long my old non-retina 2012 15” 👋

For those of you receiving notification on shipping...

Did you go very high-end? In other words, i9 processors, 32-64 GB ram and over 1TB storage?

Any shipping notifications on those models?

2020, I usually give myself a four-year cycle before I upgrade my MacBook and the new 16" feels more like a mid-cycle upgrade than a total upgrade for me.

I did consider this point also but I think what makes me happy about buying this release is it feels like a “fix release” to the 2016-19 design - and I never disliked that design, just the keyboard had me worried - with a good few treats for someone like me who’s not upgraded in years.
But I’m surely going to feel differently when you buy your newly designed MBP in 2020 ;)
