Kesha, yes. Sometimes it is spelled Ke$ha.

I genuinely don't see why people hate for him.

I guess mine would also be Justin Bieber, but I don't hate him. He's just my least favorite, that I can think of currently.

I dont like jb that much anymore becasue he is to poppy and perfected. I remember a few years ago, before anyone knew about him watching his vids on youtube, singing chris brown songs in his living room. then, you could really see how great he was.

From all the negative threads and posts, it sounds like the Beatles would be a prime choice for many ;)

I think it's safe to say that we can put the blame for this hate on the current marketing campaign, which is all about money, and nothing about talent.

Way too much over-kill on this one, but major music outlets love the free 'info-mercials', that are being distributed for their use.

Celin Dion !!! Hate, hate, hate. :)

Journey. I hate 'em. Terrible, cheezy, sappy lyrics, even for pop/rock power ballads. And Steve Perry's voice sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. I think what really sealed it for me was a college roommate who had just bought the Journey CD box set and played it all the freakin' time. He finally stopped playing it when I told him I was going to throw the whole box set out the 5th floor window of our dorm room if he didn't stop.

Frankly, there's too many. It would be impossible for me to name one. Plus, I don't tend to keep the "artists" that I dislike top of mind.

Regarding Justin Bieber..... I can't say that he's my least favorite artist because I haven't really heard any of his music. I would say that the JB hype-machine is definitely my least favorites.

Others that come to mind after browsing the front page of iTunes: Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, Daughtry, Nickleback, Rihanna, anything from Glee, and chrmjenkins' ass.

I don't listen to much pop anymore, because it's been downhill since 1993. Same with rap, with the exception of a couple of songs that are either just too damn funny or very well written. So I'm pretty blind to that.

So that leaves rock. And for the longest time, the band that I've least liked.. is Nirvana; more particular, Kurt Cobain. Lyrically, his songs were whining.. it made me want to pop him upside the head and say "pick yourself up, knucklehead! So what if the powers that be gave you a hard life! You're still alive! do something about it, and make your life worthwhile! You don't have to fake being happy, but man up!" A lot of kids bought into it too.

Outside of the lifestyle that came out of grunge, his playing was sloppy. It made anyone thing as long as they had 2 chords to their name, they could be a rock star.

Speaking of.. The next one? Oasis. Brothers who can't get along, their music was horrid, and Noel Gallagher couldn't sing a note to save his life. I cringe when any of their music comes on.

Now.. As far as others mentioned? I wonder if Lady Gaga bought all of the costumes Elton John sold at auction.. Ke$sha at a party is like Tiffany at a shopping mall; they just couldn't stop. Kanye "I am rap" West? I'd love to see the Sugar hill Gang or Grandmaster Flash give him a history lesson. And of course, anyone on a label that uses a "Hit Factory"... that being a Nickelback, Rihanna, Beyonce, Beiber, etc... Barry Gordy called, and wants his idea back.

BL.

Ok, so it wasn't a direct cover, but those guys TOTALLY ripped off that bass line! GEESH! I bet that's the same type of band who would write something as lame as, I dunno, "We Are the Champions/We Will Rock You". Or Crazy Little things called love songs. :D

I really hope that you meant to put <sarcasm> tags around your posts.:p
