Mine sits on a 1/2 inch think plank of wood, painted with silver metallic paint. Keeps it up off the carpet and is less dusty.
 

Nice clean up there.

I need to organize my cables soon; the back of my computer are like a dozen or more cables going—one for each possible connector and maybe a USB hub as well. 🙁

I usually clean up the inside of my build very well, but it appears I never do very well on the outside.

I know. It's one of those things you never get round to isn't it. I purchased a pack of cable ties and had great fun.

My next project is to get the VESA mounts for the Apple Cinema Display and mount them on the wall.

Mac Pro mounted under the table as well as cables and power supplies for the displays.
