I use names of greek gods to identify my computers. I have an imac, an asus eee pc netbook, an old pc laptop and an 15 i7 sweetness on the way :) my imac is caled zeus. netbook is called hermes (messenger and carrier god) notebook is called atlas (because it's mostly open and downloading things, sometimes used as a web server to try new sites) and I'm going to name the i7 hera :D. they are their network names, but I also use them sometimes, because it's much easier tocall a computer atlas instead of 'the old blue toshiba at the end of the hall'.

Of course my MacBook is called MacGyver
Like MacGyver with his pocket knife and paper clip my Mac has gotten me out of tight spots more times than I remember...:D

I also named my MBP hermes ;). I'm very happy with my Greek God naming scheme.

My current MBP is called "Gremlin" after a dog I once had :) I usually name my computers after pets I have/had.

I don't have names for the computers, but the hdd's all have names.
PC Desktop: SG, Stratocaster and Roadstar II
Laptop: Jackson
Server: Telecaster, Explorer and Flying V

It started with my brother calling our first hdd SG and since then I've called all the hdd's after guitars.

Bumblebee, all my computers are Transformers :)

I named my white 1.83 MacBook Bumblebee. The HDD is named Unicron. :)

I call it FrankenMac now due to the all plastic breaking and my use of tape to hold it all together.

Still thinking of a name for my 15" MBP, though.

I've never named any of my computers. Perhaps I should name my 17" i7 MBP, when my order arrives.
