Well, I was going to name it after an adult film star, but I decided to be a little less original.

My Macbook is called HoonBook. No prizes for guessing the influence of that one.

I go Greek with mine, either real historical figures, or myth/demigod/gods, and there is real meaning behind the names assigned...

Argos: The Mini Core Solo for Security and Home Automation.

Janus: My C2D MacBook Pro everyday toter.

Archimedes: The 4x3ghz Mac Pro used for video and 3D.

Pythagoras: The outgoing iMac G5 (to be replaced by another Mac Pro) used for Logic Pro music recording.

I wanted to name my Macs and iPods after the Titans. :)
But then, unfortunately, my nano died before I could think of a name for it.

Macbook: Kronos
It suits it's name properly. I only figured out what naming it that would cost me. :)) I now spend LOTS of time on my Black Macbook.

I'm already thinking of what to name my future iPhone.

Lappy sounds like a good name. =))

Oh, you want to go there? Well then. My iPod is "Echo" after one of the muses, my :apple:TV is "Dionysus" for the Greek God of Entertainment and Debauchery ;), and my phone is "Hermes" - the messenger God.

See the pattern? :D

Well, here's a small update:

iMac: Laurana
PowerBook: Susana
External HD: Marilyn
iPod Shuffle: Isabella
P&S Cam: Kalia

Next addition will be Cecilia or Julia.

My iMac used to be called 'Jill', and my partners' was called 'Cathy'. These names were after characters in a BBC comedy show called 'nighty night' which we both love. But we have since both sold those computers.

Mine is now called, rather thoughtfully, 'Tom's  iMac'. My partners' is called 'Toby the MacBook'.

I didnt name my first 2 macs an LCII and a PM6500, but whne that one died (motherboard kput!!!)

I bought a G4 Quicksilver named: Compi
My sister then got a MacBook and its name is: Compi Jr.
And I bought a Mac Book Pro, named: Compi III.
And yes the next Mac someone in my family buys will e, Compi the 4th
