I generally don't do resolutions as they seem to fail by February. Instead I try to be a better person in the new year then in the prior year.

Yeah, this is kind of my mentality too. While it's nice with the "new beginning" and all, ideally I try to start improving myself as soon as I identify the problem, be it December or May.

That said, I'm going to try getting out of the house more...

To not make any resolutions but to actually go out and do something positive in my life. That's pretty much been my resolution for the last 30 odd years. Never failed to achieve it.

Anyone can sit there and say they will do "such and such" all day long. At the end of the day, that doesn't get stuff done.

Then again, I have managed to drink an entire fifth of Jameson's tonight, so I may not be thinking clearly.

Maybe not, but your fingers seem to know all the right words.

Jameson's is my second choice, to Black Bush. Forgot to get some this NYE. :(

Ah ha, my one and only Resolution is born. :D

I guess I'm a grammar Nazi even after a bit o' whiskey. This morning, I am sadly once again reminded that I am entirely too old for these types of shenanigans. Ouch, my head! :(

Is your eyesight failing that fast now iJohn? I suppose all you can hope for is a medical miracle.

KGB:D

Have I not told you about the retinal occlusion, with edema, in my left eye?

Well sit down Son, grab a beer, and listen.

mine would be to make some more money online. Im doing good so far but im hoping to increase my earnings this year with some more work to my websites :)

OK, then I'll get on to my cataracts in both the left and uhm ... oh yeah, the right eyes. On the wait list and hoping for one to be operated on this year.

KGB:cool:

For simple cataracts?? How long is the wait, down there??

I do know that we used to wait for them to 'ripen' somewhat, but that methodology has just changed recently.

They are both as bad as each other, and it's agreed the time is nigh. The wait list is about six months and generally when it hits 12 months the hospital farms it out to be done privately.

How are you fairing with your condition? Can you still drive and all that stuff?

Oh yeah, no problem there, but I would not drive if the other eye was the same.

Just the fine vision in the centre of the macular area.

I've had 2 injections into the eye in the last 2 months, and probably another near the end of January.

Well iJohn, I hope it all goes well with the procedure. Guess it's just grin and bear it.:D

KGB

We should really get our own room. :D @iJH ;)

It's working, but the eyes are slow to recover. The interesting thing is the drug being injected into the vitreous is an anti-cancer drug, in smaller quantities.

They found it was helpful in these situations. Odd, but there it is.

Mine is to drink less!

Hello??? I'll take your left-overs, depending on your taste in drink that is.

If it's Fosters, forgetaboutit. :p
