Agreed and same here. I'd like to see improved wireless, smaller bezel, faster charging, all of the goodness of iOS 7 straight no chaser, and more Wacom digitizer integration.
I really need Apple and 3rd party manufacturers to up the ante on the digitizers/styli front. Samsung really shouldn't be the only game in town when it comes to a fully integrated system that takes full advantage of a stylus in a useful way.
Right. There. With. Ya! An integrated Wacom digitizer---a stylus option would be fan--feakin'-tastic! I understand Steve's original vision...and the iPad is absolute the pinnacle in tablet computing....but the power and money Apple has at this point...they could easily develop a relationship with Wacom and truly put a solution together that would beat all others. Just the option and built in digitizer. Still made for fingers but the possibility if needed. I'd love to have Clients sign with a stylus vs their finger with Square when we take credit cards....the possibility to use it via Bluetooth with photoshop, CAD, and the plethora of creative and drawing apps....it could/definitely would be a game changer if implemented the right (Apple) way
I have used the iPad 4, thought it was faster, but really not that much faster. I know the A6x is much faster than the A5x, but the chip doesn't really shine somehow.
I want zero lag when swiping trhough apps with four fingers. I don't want to wait for the app to unfreeze. That would make the iPad truly awesome. The iPad 4 can't do this, can only hope the 5 will.
It's a LOT faster. It's still keeping pace with the new Snapdragon 6/800 series prices in the newest Android gear. Across the field of benchmarks, the '4' beats the '3' double, sometimes triple! There is zero lag. I'm typing this on my ipad4 as I speak and figured I'd shoot a quick video to show you. Just did it. No. Lag. Period! Even with Real Racing 3 in 'play' mode.

Just a quick 30 second video shot with my iPhone. Apologies for the quality. Me n my son are watching TV in the dark
Check it out. Show me the lag. I've got three hundred apps on my iPad. If you'd like me to load up others...you name 'em. I can scroll through dozens of them without lag. I'm at a loss as to your experience. The iPad 4 is a monster. At this time the development community is definitely still concentrating on A5 performance optimization. As that's the bulk iOS population. iPhone 4/4s iPad 2/3/mini....lots of those is the wild. Not a lot of A6s yet. Just the iPhone 5 and iPad 4. The time will come (as we are already seeing with different features in iOS 7---Airdrop for instance). I suspect you played with either a bad iPad 4 or maybe someone told you it was a 4 when it fact it was a 3. The iPad 3 does have some animation lag...not much. Certainly nothing to bitch about. It's still the second best tablet on the market and regardless of JellyBean build or the amount of 'butter' they add to it...the iPad 3 still trumps them all. The iPad 4 on the other hand...it's an example of perfection when it comes to hardware and software usability and efficiency and battery life and specs, options, the list goes on forever. The only complaint I've actually got it....unfortunately I own a 'mini' as well...now that's form factor perfection! That said...all day, everyday if a choice had to me made that I could only keep a single iOS device....it would be the iPad 4
