Detective. Haven't used a case on the 5 yet, and like it that way. When I was a patrol officer, I kept my 3GS in a minimalistic Belkin case that just covered the back and sides, and kept the phone in one of my front uniform shirt pockets.

Wedding photographer - no case at the moment , I'm still waiting to get cygnett workmate.

Typical High School student. I do video work over the summer and I hope to eventually land a job at Best Buy, the Apple Store, Staples, or just somewhere that involves technology (Heck, even Walmart would be good). Either way, I use an Otterbox Defender and I HATE IT, but I have an everlasting fear of shattering the back of the phone (glass backs are pretty....until you shatter it), so i hope to get simple back plate to protect the back from shattering (hmmm, Maybe a Mophie JuicePack) and if I do get the iPhone 5, probably a back plate for that too.

President of The United States. I rock it naked because I have enough Secret Service agents that'll protect it...

Law Enforcement officer, Black/Slate with black Belkin Grip Max...

Lab tech in a manufacturing plant. I use a $5.00 case on my 4 that protects the back, and side. There is enough of a lip on the front that if you lay it on the from it raises it up some.

ER Trauma Nurse. I keep my iPhone in my scrub pocket, therefore I use a Speck Pixelskin HD case.

Human Resources, and in my "spare" time, greyhound rescue. Using the Griffin Reveal on the slate 5. Looks awesome.

IT Project Manager (telecommute) and writer. I use a dual hard shell/rubber case plus screen protector.

Work in bank fraud. Case AND skin, once the best skins ever arrive. will see if the BSE works with the Otterbox Defender. If so, I may have the most invulnerable iPhone 5 on Earth. want a case after my 4 flew off roof of my car. and want skin to protect from dirt in case scratching phone. makes perfect sense...in my sick mind.

I thought this was a 300 reference... But since it's not, I'm a information systems tech (which is just nonsense-speak for "the IT guy" position).

Edit - no case or skin for me, this phone is too pretty. I'll just be careful.
