Email administrator - case and screen protector. I don't want it to get messed up in my purse or when I drop it. This will be my 3rd iPhone and I keep them in good shape. I don't like a really bulky case though.

Systems analyst - no case, but possibly wrap due to craptastick black anodizing.

However, I trail run in mtns quite a bit - looking for case to protect against drops while keeping phone small enough to tuck into shorts waistband or clip without bouncing.

Professional poker player, also registered nurse(just in case).
<><><><>NO CASE! ITS TOO PRETTY!!!<><><><>

Industrial Designer and I work with tons of resin, glues, sandpaper and many other materials.

And no, I don't use any type of case and the only scratch my 4 has on the stainless steel band is from when it fell from the table I was working on.

Damn resistant phones!

My iPad on the other side...

Ocean Lifeguard in CA. Were not allowed to have our phones out on duty, but Sand is usually the culprit in destroying every device I obtain regardless of the protective measures taken

Paramedic

I just got the elago s5 case and a zagg HD invisibleshield so I'll be rocking that until element releases a comp style bumper.

Banker. No 5 yet, but rocking the Caudabe Concentric for my 4S with a Caudabe screen protector on the front.

Should have my 5 soon and will probably get some sort of Zagg-like skin for it, if not a Zagg.

Project Manager and part time Overweight Lova' MC...

iPhone 5 NUDE case here... Could go without though. :)

chemical engineer. A case when on vacation, no case when at a business meeting. Like a case when using the phone as my GPS, as it might fall off the dash . . .

haha, that is awesome. Love that you are bringing your work onto your phone!

Yep - it's funny, the reaction I got when people saw my iP4S wrapped with wood. People at the Apple store and AT&T store were almost dumbfounded (not really a surprise given the quality of people they seem to both be hiring).

They assume it's just the typical printed film, until they touch it and realize it's the real thing, with just enough grip to eliminate the slippery feel to the phone.

I find that the 5 is less slippery once in hand, but picking it up off a table is more challenging given its thinner profile. Some wood on the edge will solve that (and offer the protection of a layer of wood to boot!).

It's soooo interesting to see all the different occupations you people have...now I feel connected to you silly people, haha!! Makes me feel like singing...

Occupation: rotating equipment engineer
Case: Otterbox defender

I currently have an otterbox defender, but can't stand the thickness and chunkiness of the case. I think I will be going to the spigen neo hyrbid

College student + I landed a job as a business/systems analyst in a famous company. Woohoo! :D

I am OCD so I always use cases and protective film. Well, I'm also clumsy with my electronics, having spilled pesto on one of my previous phones...spilled water on my laptop...smashed my kindle...

Airframe Structural Engineer - plain simple Rocketfish case to protect the back and sides. I'll often set my phone down on a ladder or on the floor while evaluating damage or repairs. Since their tends to be metal shavings around, I like to have a little protection, otherwise I'd be going naked! :D
