I'm currently using a Razer Death Adder, but I'm thinking of getting a Bluetooth mouse soon. I don't know which one yet...

I'm kind of stuck. I don't want buy a mighty mouse because for regular use I don't think they are precise enough.

Problem is I want a wireless mouse. But I don't want to use a USB one because imo that completely voids the point of getting one for it. With only 2 USB ports to play with as it is I don't want to waste one when I will need to be running my tablet, Scanners, Printer ( I don't mind switching between the printer/scanner )

So I need a bluetooth one, but they are all a bit.... "meh"

I really like the look of the VX nano & revolution, but again USB. Hmmm

I recently went through a similar search for a wireless mouse and couldn't find one with the combination of features I wanted and reports of a reliable BT connection.

In the end, I went with a VX Revolution. I wanted to avoid the USB receiver, but there was no way around it. If I'm using my machine as a mobile, I'm usually fine with the trackpad, or even if I had to use the receiver, there's rarely anything else I'd need to plug in.

When I'm at home, I have it connected to a Dell 2007WFP with enough USB ports for anything I need.

I'm gathering I'll just have to get a hub as I don't think i can suffer a drop in quality of mouse as I've always used top end ones and swear by logitech religiously.

i dont get the hate on the mighty mouse? I mean yeah sure Apple could make it more better, but they're too busy ... ya know crankin' out beautiful computers for the world already. Lol:apple::apple::apple:

I have one and like it. Not needing a USB port and the Expose function is nice as well.

I just use the trackpad... Multi-touch is so freaking awesome.

2 finger: scroll, zoom, rotate, right click
3 finger: swipe, back, forward
4 finger: expose, show desktop

Plus it is so silky smooth... and BIG. I don't think I'll ever use a mouse with this new MB.

using a logitech G7 mouse, but for some reason the when using heavy wifi, the mouse skips due to the RF usb receiver being 2.4GHz like the wifi. It worked fine when I had it with my old PC laptop, but now it barely works correctly in OSX but works in vista. whoopdeedoo

-_-

I find myself using the trackpad more often than the mouse especially with multi-clutch preference pane customizing what the swipes do.

Mighty mouse does the trick for me. It's great on battery life and even in games it seems to handle fine... for me that is :D

I use the trackpad mostly, but I also have a wireless mighty mouse. For doing any image processing, I prefer a Wacom though.

fan of the Apple Mighty Mouse.
Been using Logitech and Microsoft mice for many years...

Only recently switched to using the Apple Mighty Mouse (with cord, Bluetooth drains battery and is too heavy) and I am actually very comfortable with it.

Takes less than 5 minutes to clean the trackball... dosen't bother me.
After using this mouse extensively for a more than a month I have gotten so used to the trackball that it makes scrollwheels a pain to use.

When I am on the go or have my macbook on my lap I would only use the trackpad (it works great). Only using the mouse when I have the laptop attached to my station (external monitor, apple keyboard+mouse).

I would use a wired mighty mouse but unfortunately the cord is not long enough to reach around (lol) the back of the MacBook to a USB port on the left if you're right handed without using some kind of extension. I really don't want to use an extension because there will just be a bunch of extra cable on my desk.

I bought the VX Nano and it's a very accomplished notebook mouse but now when I've gotten used to the trackpad I don't think I need it anymore! The trackpad is that good.

I primarily use the built-in trackpad but I have a Logitech VX Nano for those times when I want to use a mouse.
