from the problems being reported.....i think 10.5.2 screwed up a lot more than it fixed!
343MB of crap/bugs!
Whats going with apple...?? why is it loosing the quality of its deliverables much like Microsoft!

Still waiting to hear (I know I won't in 10.5.2) that Spotlight search results can be sorted by size, date modded, etc...stuff besides the limited choices Apple decided to stick us with. Also hoping to be able to search for system files without have to click 47 buttons. People talk about Leopard's Spotlight being faster and more powerful, but without the simple choices Tiger offered, I don't see how it's better.

HUUGE problem for me that it hasn't fixed...

When my MBP pro is 'sleeping' (when the airport was on prior to me shutting the lid) when it wakes up 70% of the time it wakes up and the mouse is all shaky, and programs seem shaky as well. I literally can't use the computer when the mouse gets that shaky.. so i have to restart it every time

I have this problem too. It's been there since 10.5.0. I seem to get it more often since updating to 5.2. It's a real pain. Other than that I seem to be running ok.

Install The Combo Updater

From what I'm reading on a lot of the Apple support discussions, installing the 10.5.2 Combo Updater resolves many issues that the folks who used Software Update to update to 10.5.2 are experiencing. You can install the combo update download directly over your current "Software Update 10.5.2" and it should be clean. Keep that download on disk because you can use it to repair your OS by reinstalling it as a first line of defense before Reinstalling Leopard entirely.

Back to my Mac still does not work.

While adding more support for drives using time machine, mine no longer works with time machine. I have had to say hello to back up 3.

My living room is still messy

i'm now getting wireless issues (AGAIN) since the 10.5.2 update and the graphics update. what the hell? anyone else having this problem?

wireless connection is dropping out a lot now.

The larger mouse pointers are still pixelated, is it that difficult to redraw an arrow 10 times or so?

lol, 1G space for this new patch, apple should mail $20 to everybody who has so much trouble with this beta leopard.

Hah so happy. XX.XX.2 is working finally with no problems like my files going missing ::mad: but im sure ill find something as a great leader once said "If things are going to well, Your walking into an ambush".

§cott out.

The wireless on my september Macbook is still as bad as ever. An apple scam this is, to make you buy one of their routers.

I have an AEBS, but after 10.5.2 my wireless is now dropping out every five minutes or so. It comes back on its own, but it is annoying, and I had no problems before 10.5.2. In fact, I was thrilled that Leopard solved my post 10.4.7 wireless drop outs, which required a reset.

Now it's screwed again!

I have a 17" iMac Core Duo, 1.83 Ghz.

Fixed? It BROKE my wireless. It worked great until an hour ago when i installed 10.5.2. The wireless connection on my MacBook randomly drops out, scans, reconnects LITERALLY every 3 minutes or less. This NEVER happened prior to 10.5.2. My wireless connection is worthless right now.

My iMac has always done this. I thought it was just the signal strength as its a fair way from the router, but having said that, the Dell laptop sitting next to it on the desk has no such problems.

This is particularly frustrating as I bought the iMac because it was wireless to replace a Mini with no Airport card... grrrr.

I have absolutely no problems with 10.5.2.....wjhy do you all suck? :D

Backup your system.....reinstall OSX.....update to 10.5.2 on a fresh install...you will have no issues :)

I dont know if this is the same wireless issue as others but:

Usually at least a few times a day, I will be browsing the internet, or even have my computer idle (running iChat) and my connection will randomly drop. My roommates internet still works so I know its not my schools internet connection. All it takes for me to get internet back is to turn off and on my Airport, or sometimes to simply wait a few minutes for my Airport to recognize my connection again. I then I have to log back into my schools network with my password.

Ugh, VERY annoying, because sometime I can go days without this happening, but lately, I can only go a few hours

forgot the little 'pop' through the speakers, when system volume is muted and a sound (e.g. mail arrives) is played

I've got that too. It does that on boot up as well when the blu-tooth is setting itself up, and takes sometimes 30 secs to unfreeze itself. Very unhappy right now

...yes because I have the time and storage to completely backup everything
Its not my fault, why should I have to go out of my way to do something that may or may not work.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 16GB: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A93 Safari/419.3)

i'm feeling a bit left out here: I've had no problems with any of my macs on 10.5, 10.5.1 or 10.5.2 ;)
back to my mac works like a charm, the portables sleep and wake up when they should, and I've never had a single wifi failure to connect or drop off.

I'm still having problems with Spaces. At some point during a day of work, Spaces will get itself in a twist. Symptoms are:

1. Clicking a dock icon doesn't automatically navigate to the correct space.
2. Windows become hidden and is difficult to get them back without quitting the app. Another work-around is to select minimise from the Window menu, and then click the minimised window in the dock.

I'm not sure what's causing it, but I suspect it might have something to do with Eclipse.

I have the same problem. I don't run Eclipse. It works a day or two and then all of a sudden you find Spaces not returning you to your space when you click on an app in the dock. I was hoping 10.5.2 fixed it but I guess we will have to wait until 10.5.3
