What monitor are you using?

Dell 3008WFP. With my 5770 Card then didn't identify the model properly, however since upgrading to the GTX680 last night, and connecting via the Display Port then recognizes as a Dell 3008WFP correctly.
If it hadn't then I had planned to replace with the NEC PA271W as I loved my old NEC 2080UX+ and heard nothing but good things about the NEC Monitors. Expensive compared to other manufacturers but just felt so much better quality.

At home I have an Asus 23" LED and a 21" Acer on my XPS8500. My iMac is a 2010 21.5" and I have a 17" toshiba laptop. I'm planing to get a Dell 27" WQHD to replace the dual monitor on the Dell, because the dual monitor setup is starting to give me a pain in the neck after working for hours on a PS comp. It's like watching a tenis match, left, right, left, right... beside since I'm using a tablet it doesn't really work in a dual monitor settting so I have to grab the mouse to select in the second screen.
Of course if I had the money I would get a Cintiq 24HD Touch 😀
I'm also planning to retire my iMac and get a Mac mini if they release one with Iris Pro. Or I may replace the iMac and the Toshiba laptop with a MBP Retina after the next update.

I love the display but one of my few complaints is the lack of power from the USB ports. I'd love to be able to charge my ipad3.
Like most around here, I'd take a 4K display that's 30" but a must is that's its antiglare.

Cheap 27"Samsung SyncMaster P2770, got it off craigslist 4-5 months ago for $100 bucks.

I'm on an old Dell 3007WFP-HC. It has performed admirably over the years. I just wish it had a few more inputs.

Well, their Ultrasharp line do make for very good sRGB colour representation. This is actually a quality product from Dell. I.e. the 2713H is a full 10-bit-per-pixel Monitor - something the Pros all drool over.
I am considering the U3014 now, as their top of the line 30" 2560x1609 was just updated a few months ago.

A lot of folks are using Dell, but their quality has been crap lately and their tested response time is miserable (important if you play games). If you are picky about bleed and conformity, be prepared to exchange a few before you get a good one.
I've been using an LG 27EA83D for several months now. The LG 27EA83D is a wide gamut 2560 x 1440 IPS panel that works better than the Dell for both gaming and photo/video editing. I think Dell and LG use the same glass but it seems LG cherry picks them for their monitor. LG does use PWM dimming, if that bothers you. A great monitor, especially if you grab one when they go on sale for ~$700. I hear the narrow gamut -R version is also very good for a bit less money.

Dell U2312HM, great monitor, and from the factory calibrated pretty good once you turn the backlight down.

I would think so. Apple could do Thunderbolt and Mini DisplayPort auto switching if they wanted.

The pros drool over 10-bit yes. Not Dell's U2713H though. It has overshoot issues and a hobbled OSD. At least they are using the less grainy AG coating that used to ruin their fleet.
Dell sources LG IPS panels. It is hard not to mess that up.
I think people buy Dell's because they have great sales and they are available in places like Siberia.
I use three HP ZR2440w 24" monitors, mainly for SW Development, school and some 3D modeling in Maya

Did you ever have probs with the u2713h? I have this screen hooked to a pc. I was considering to connect a mac mini to it (dp to mdp). Apparantly there are probs, so now I'm considering an iMac.
