None - I've never found one that doesn't degrade the experience in some way or another. I'll get the screen repaired via Applecare at some point in the device's lifespan, and that'll be it.

I just can't do it - I'd rather be protected by Applecare in case of a big scratch or crack than have to degrade every minute of my experience with it. Same with cases. Can't do it, not ever.

None. You pay all that money to **** up your phone, if they wanted ****** glass that got bubbles under it they would have put it on

Under Apple care, screen replacement is $29. That’s the cost of a single glass protector.

Many glass protectors cost less than $5.

I would prefer not to break the water resistant seal. A tech has to redo the seal and probably won’t be as good as the original.

Guys with the Belkin in store install.....are the edges rounded for comfortable swiping over?

This is not accurate. You have 2 accidental damage claims that do not include cosmetic damage like scratches. So if you get a scratch you are stuck. That is not the same protection as a screen protector.

Let be clear here: If scratch my front glass I can get it replaced for $29? I know I can when its cracked.

Do either situation count as one of my accidental damage replacements?

I’m pretty sure it counts as your accidental damage. But you pay $29 for the screen replacement only, instead of $99 if the whole phone is damaged thereby requiring a complete replacement. 2 incidents in two years? I like my chances.

Someone I’m sure will chime in with ‘what about the initial cost of AppleCare?’ That’s the tax you pay to get Apple to “Care” LOL

Tech21 Impact Shield Self Healing. Self heals any scratches. Feels great and I barely notice it’s on. Also doesn’t scratch very easily.

With curved edges I stopped using screen protectors. Got rid of one on 6 Plus. Never applied one on 7 Plus. Used daily driver full year. Not a scratch or mark. Feels so much better especially with edge strokes. Always get AppleCare+ never used it so far. Do get second year refund though each time I upgrade to next phone.

I’ve always used a case but never used a screen protector and never had a problem selling my phones when I upgrade.

AppleCare for the iPhone X is $200 + $30. I got a 3 pack for $7.99 on Amazon. Quite the difference.

But you end up with a heavier phone. At the end of the day, it’s whatever helps one sleep better at night.

I did really like the Powersupport anti glare when they use to sell them at the Apple stores. Do they still make them?
