iTV also sounds identical to eyeTV.

I was thinking MacTV, but only because Steve said they want "Mac" in the names of their products.

I predict MacPolls will have one on this subject soon.

miniMacmini sounds like a winner to me.;)

Apple alreday had a product called MacTV.

And they won't put Mac in the name as it will work with Windows.

Hmm,

Apple Media Centre

AirPort Media Centre

Although I would prefer that the word 'centre' is not used, since the rest of the English speaking world would be forced to use the American English spelling of 'center'. So maybe we can use 'central' as a compromise.

Airport Media Central

wow, that's an awesome video! nice job. anyway, AirPort cinema sounds good, as this is just an airport with HDMI, component, and Front Row like stuff (which is just a new iTunes interface)
Airport Cinema sounds like a Mac only name - Apple want to market this device for Mac and PC so again iTube sounds better;)

Thanks for your nice comment BTW hope you liked it

Can't believe no one has suggested 'iWatch' yet.
Probably because Apple prefers i-noun forms to i-verb forms. So they'd use names like iVision or iScene or iPicture or iVideo or iBoobtube but not iWatch or iLook or iStareAtTheScreen. I suppose iView falls in both categories.

How about Cinemac?

On another sunject, I love that iTV, and as soon as I get my 32" Sharp HD TV, I'll get an iTV.;)

Not ITV, its a station for a TV network over here (Although I'm sure its been mentioned, just don't wanna read the whole thread)..

but:

iView
iShow [or something 'Showtime' related]
iTheatre
iMovie Box
iStream
Front Row HD
AirPort AV

Pretty crappy but oh well

Edit: iPlayer?

Wouldn't it make sense for Apple to exploit the brand recognition of their existing franchises (like they did with the iPod Hi-Fi)?

iTunes TV, iTunes Player

Front Row Express

iPod Home

iHome

I like iTheatre & iCinema aswell, but Apple will market this as for more than just movies, so those two are too restrictive.

They won't use "Airport" anywhere in the name, even though it will have similar functionality to the Airport express. This is an individual product, not one that's part of a range.

iHome is already a product.
