Apple will be on stage tomorrow at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco to announce several new products, including the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro, iPad mini 4, fourth-generation Apple TV and new Apple Watch bands and finishes. The keynote should also provide updates about iOS 9 and watchOS 2.

MacRumors will be providing live blog and Twitter coverage of the "Hey Siri" media event, which commences at 10 AM Pacific on Wednesday. Below is a roundup that previews what to expect at the keynote based on previous reports from MacRumors, 9to5Mac, TechCrunch, Re/code, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and other sources.

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

The ninth-generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will look virtually the same as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, retaining 4.7" and 5.5" ion-strengthened glass displays respectively with similar exterior designs.

It has been rumored for a few years that iPhones will eventually switch to sapphire crystal displays, but well-informed KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently claimed the material has yet to pass Apple's internal drop tests.

Apple has addressed bending issues by designing the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus with Series 7000 aluminum, which is stronger and marginally thicker compared to Series 6000 aluminum used on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The rear shell will still have a layer of anodization to protect against corrosion and allow for different color options, including space gray, silver, gold and a new rose gold color. The new color should look similar to the rose gold Apple Watch Edition.

This is what I expect:
-----------------------

"Good morning."
"Thank you for coming."
"We have some incredible things to show you. Our teams have been working so hard.."
"It's been an amazing year for Apple."

Then, either an Apple Store opening video, or a milestone of Apps downloaded/number of Apps available/
amount of dollars paid to developers.

Watch - "our customers are loving it. here's a video.."
unveil new straps, & mention WatchOS 2 coming soon.. perhaps showing a key feature or two.

iPhone - graphs of market share, iOS share/latest version, maybe even a video
And then some clever spin to lead into the next iPhone, given the fairly incremental upgrades.
Perhaps it will focus on the camera, or perhaps on the display and loads of techy detail
on how 3D Force Touch works.
6S and 6S+ revealed and low-down on the specs, price and pre-orders date.

iPad - another video showing cool iPad users, such as pilots and dance instructors..
Mini iPad update. Reveal iPad Pro (probably with a different name). Stylus in artistic programs, and
a diary app for business users. Super expensive, but will look gorgeous!

Interlude - some non-Apple presentation.. perhaps a game developer showing a dull new game with
amazing graphics, or perhaps a drawing app developer showing cool artistic work with the stylus.
In an attempt to show that this new apple stylus is way better than any of the many other styluses
produced for the iPad already, and the other tablets on the market.

"We're not finished" or "One More Thing" (but that seems too cliched these days..)
Apple TV is an area of interest.. "we want to move it on" (to use Siri etc)
New Apple TV shown. Emphasis on its 'hub' role, and using Siri to control it...
with spotlight on gaming/apps, as well as showing TV channels. Available to buy tomorrow.

Total time: 2 hours, 10 minutes.

Apple should call this iOS device event, nothing against it cause i'm very excited indeed.

In line with limited availability of Intel Skylake processors appropriate for most Macs until late 2015, no new Macs are expected to be announced at Apple's media event tomorrow. An early 2016 refresh for most Macs is more likely.

But what about the Mac Pro???

Just seems dull. Nothing in that line up speaks of innovation. It's just another product release.
I think we're in for something special with the new Apple TV. Even an Apple TV with an App Store might shake up the streaming box market.

I also think a stand alone iPad event will occur for the new iPad pro. It won't be just a bigger iPad...

I think you've nailed it right there. I don't think the new Apple TV is going to be as big as people are hoping. I think it'll be largely the same design (probably a bit smaller) with a refreshed UI which includes Siri and an App Store. Probably some fancy graphics processor to allow for very casual gaming and apps, but nothing seriously power hungry. Probably around the same price too, with a couple of pricing tiers for more storage etc. Everyone's expecting a touch screen remote too, I'm not convinced we'll see that but I'm prepared to be surprised.
