iPhone 5 - 32 Bit - small, low-res display and 1GB RAM. Holds plenty of browser tabs and apps in memory. Very little reloading

iPhone 6+ - 64 Bit - large, HD display and 1GB RAM. Reloads browser tabs and apps for fun and has next to no free memory available.

The result is a stuttery reloading machine.

I'd like to see them surprise us with some more color options aside from Rose Gold, like the Slate iPhone 5, but I won't get my hopes up for any new additional colors until next year.

I would love a darker iPhone 6S too! But I don't think it's going to happen this year either. I think they dropped the slate color with the iPhone 5S because the darker finish was too easy to scratch off.

Are we ever going to get Siri for OS X? If we haven't heard of it for El Capitan I doubt it'll be anytime soon.. They upgraded the mics in the Macbook Airs two years ago (and I assume in every Mac since) for better dictation, so hardware isn't an issue. Hopefully they get the software sorted.

The 6+ is the worst iPhone ever released. It's an underspecced, badly designed phone that never worked properly from day one.

Yeah it does need beefed up along with a native res screen to eliminate the constant scaling issue that creates more lag.

Again, you're missing my point. My phone has *never* been good and I'm not bemoaning the fact that a new phone is better. I'm bemoaning the fact that the old phone has never worked properly.

Why keep something you don't like? You had a return period.

I'll probably turn that off on Day 1. Still buying it though of course.

Just a reminder that at last years event they didn't really talk about iOS 8 so I'm not expecting an iOS 9 recap section today. I think they'll only talk about those things specific to the new hardware that weren't announced at WWDC.

iPad pro features in IOS 9 or IOS 9.1 maybe, I think most will be very short recaps of all the rumours are true about the amount of things Apple will be announcing today. In fact this may be the longest Apple keynote ever!

I quite like the idea of seeing when my (now older) kids get home and if it's done through iCloud integration as the article says and I don't have to punch holes in my firewall, I might be interested...

iPad - another video showing cool iPad users, such as pilots and dance instructors..
Mini iPad update. Reveal iPad Pro (probably with a different name). Stylus in artistic programs, and
a diary app for business users. Super expensive, but will look gorgeous!

Interlude - some non-Apple presentation.. perhaps a game developer showing a dull new game with
amazing graphics, or perhaps a drawing app developer showing cool artistic work with the stylus.
In an attempt to show that this new apple stylus is way better than any of the many other styluses
produced for the iPad already, and the other tablets on the market.

"We're not finished" or "One More Thing" (but that seems too cliched these days..)
Apple TV is an area of interest.. "we want to move it on" (to use Siri etc)
New Apple TV shown. Emphasis on its 'hub' role, and using Siri to control it...
with spotlight on gaming/apps, as well as showing TV channels. Available to buy tomorrow.

Thousands of people already have late betas of iOS 9 running on their 6 and 6+. I'd think if it was a performance drain in the way you're describing, it would already be known. Also, your example doesn't quite hold because the iPad 3 was a lot further behind when iOS 8 came out than the iPhone 6+ will be with iOS 9.

FWIW, though there may be some bugs, I don't notice any performance loss on my 6 with iOS 9. And some of the features are going to be invaluable (Safari content blocking may even make your 1 GB of RAM go a little further when browsing

Thanks. Yeah I was pretty peeved at the iPad3 update to iOS8. Wish I kept it at 7, or knew how to downgrade at the time. Live and learn I guess. Very wary of updates since the muckup of the iPhone update last year. Plus the current Apple Music update for iTunes is still not fixed for large libraries in Artist mode. Very cautious updater over here.
