The volume thing is the best strp fordward simce iOS 1.0

Congrats to the designer or the exec in charge, it took many many years but finally you came up with a better solution.

Thanks from 1B iPhone users

do you realize 32-bit apps haven't kept up with security or any other features either? And why do you think that 32-bit apps are good for productivity? Your post is confusing

32-bit apps are not less secure than 64-bit apps, 32 bit apps only can address a maximum of 4gb of ram, that its all. A modern 64 bit app can be less secure and poorly programmed than a 32bit one, maximum addresseable memory and quality of code are two different animals.

Redesigned call screen. do that and nothing else and I'd still call it the best update in years.

Calls needs to stop interrupting everything else - now! Making calls isn't even in the top 5 of things you do on your phone these days, time Apple recognise that.

There’s been little talk about tvOS. I think that it’ll be a dark horse. There will probably be be a major redesign. Apple is reorganizing their TV strategy and the AppleTV app will gain prominence in tvOS — likely as the default screen. There’ll probably be a different way to access apps and given that it’s WWDC, new tools to incentivize tvOS app development, probably Marzipan for tvOS.

On my 4th Generation Apple TV, I open up the Apple Events app, and it just loads up to a blank grey screen. Is this happening to anyone else?

Just trying to get ready for the show. :)

Ya that's something you will see in August or September.

Does anyone else realize how the majority of positive tweets on the #WWDC19 trend on Twitter are from profiles that appear fake? You’ll have someone saying “Wow, calculator for Apple Watch, this is world-changing” and then their profile bio will have the word “affiliate”. Very non-natural speech patterns. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were shills…

Bing bing bing! You said the secret word!

(actually the secret word could have been “Bluetooth trackers” but “Tile” is one of those)

The thing that is really cool about this article is the mention of “Find My” - In my not so humble opinion.

I extrapolate in my imagination that this new app will be opening the doors for group based Bluetooth tracking of the key fobby type “tile” and “TrackR” and so many other IOT tracking devices with batteries that need replacing too often.

Apple can make this work unlike any other company. The best way to do it would possibly have been a massive blockchain open source project, but Apple deserves a few $Billion if they end up selling zillions of Bluetooth tracker module thingies AND does a better job than the horrible companies trying to do it now.

This was something I thought was very significant that jumped at me from this article.

Making the Internet of things Bluetooth tracker devices function optimally is something that Apple can do and there have been rumors about them taking over some of those companies Who have taken a crack at it and did not so bad actually but are missing the real incentive to help other people. The real fact is there is a zero incentive to help other people unless you pay them a bounty or, in Apples case if you make it happen transparently in the background with full security and respect for privacy. Millions of phones serving as sensors to find your lost bicycle, keys, bags, anything!

ONLY Apple can do this use case for IOT BT keyfob tracker devices, and it has potential to be really cool I think!

Would love to discuss it.

Bluetooth Trackers
So... the app was indeed named "Find My"... however, no tracker I guess? Pretty disappointed. Was wanting one for keys, wallet, and airpods.

They (Apple) hopefully will open up the Bluetooth stuff so TrackR and Tile and stuff can be used - or maybe they will make it work with their own hardware trackers.

For now you'd have to spoof the Bluetooth ID of a certified Apple device I suppose. Naw - it's coming from Apple, no need to hack together a solution hopefully.

The key here is that it would be nice for a BT Tracker device thingy to ride on the coat tails of Apple's secure and private location network. I doubt Apple will miss a trick.

Hopefully soon it will be finding lost bicycles and stuff!

Yah - must be Russians! :) Just kidding - I don't think you have to look so far away.

These days, there are a lot of taxi drivers who do make extra cash on the side by being paid shills for whatever (stock manipulation, or who knows what else) cause.

I see products getting slammed hard on Amazon "reviews" with low ratings - it's an easy way for a competitor to mess things up. Same kind of thing. Horrible isn't it?

I did but I still use Macs and Mac devices. My wife and business partner is also still on a Mac. She's holding out for another year to see how things are going in AppleLand.

Dumb question as I've moved to IMAP emails and usually don't have to mass delete emails off of my iPad anymore. Has it gotten any easier to mass delete emails off of an iPad?
Not as far as I can tell.
