The scrolling surface is amazingly useful on the current Magic Mouse. It just takes an incredible amount of willpower to change your natural hand position to use the damn thing.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the Mac version of the MX4 Master and the regular version? I'm thinking about getting one for both Mac and PC (Linux) use, so would want one that works with both.
With the Apple version you have to buy the Bolt dongle separately. I buy the regular version because the Bolt wireless connection works flawlessly and can support multiple devices like the Logitech keyboard.

Regular:
Mouse
USB-C Bolt receiver
User documentation

Mac:
Mouse
User documentation

The Bolt Receiver is $14.99. So the Mac version offers no advantage as the MX Master 4 is the same device. The only difference is they make you spend $14.99 for the Bolt Receiver.

The Magic Mouse is, arguably, the worst product Apple ever continuously offered. I tried to get used to it but gave up after two weeks. It’s just atrocious.

The only problem with Logitech MX series (other than having to use their software to get some functionality) is that it’s too large for being a travel mouse. But in a desktop setup, it’s the best mouse I’ve ever used.

I never said it was a massive inconvenience, but it is just plain stupid design. I’ve been in situations at work where it suddenly died, and I had to be using it with a client.
Literally plugging it in for 5 seconds and unplugging it will give you 20+ minutes of battery life. Charge port is not a stupid design. It'll take you longer to reach for a cable to plug it in.

Your client will take longer than 5 seconds to respond to the question "So how was your day going".
