Don't hope too much,.Keynote has run for an hour...don't think there's space for anything else...Desktop line..if we are lucky will land with ML in Summer.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but spec updates have happened like that before.
I think we'll see Ivy Bridge, USB 3, updated graphics performance, and better SSD options. I don't think that's enough to be mentioned in the presentation when there's so much other stuff to talk about today.
i think it has more sense that the specs-bump happens today rather than 1-2-3 (100 more) weeks otherwise there will never be an ending point
1) wait this evening to end
2) wait the wwdc to end
3) open your wallet and buy whats available

Surely if they were planning on releasing an updated iMac line in the very near future they would use this platform and publicity and at least mention it now?
Makes no sense to me for them to just keep quiet and hope there are millions of people like us who will notice the update when it comes.

Considering Mountain Lion is shipping next month, they may wait but I'm hoping they don't.

Was never in doubt, but also implies unless we get an iMac refresh this week, we may be some time away from the next one...
A tiny shred, yes. But I really doubt a general spec update warrants a "one more thing" moment.

But there was even stronger evidence pointing to an imminent update of the Mac Pro than the iMac. Seeing a press release before the day's over with new Mac Pros and iMacs wouldn't be the least bit surprising.
