The OP's phone is 2 advanced + color, here is my old favorite mate which still is in working condition!

Heh... I had like five or six of those beasts with various cell providers!

Motorola KRZR...my first "real phone". Man I had some fun times messing around with the firmware/themes/tweaks/etc. Good memories. JBing an iPhone is NOTHING compared to doing SEEM edits on a motorola, let me tell you.

Nokia 8210...Loved the size and it never failed me.

That was my first phone in exactly that colour, until it was stolen from me when queuing for the opening of the Regent St Applestore. Loved that phone. It was the only model that persuaded me to have a mobile in the first place. Only needed to charge it once a week.

Now have the Sony Ericsson W810i as a spare, but it's not the same thing.

Motorola V80, I just loved the look of it, got it about 6 or 7 years ago. Was a swivel phone and used to light up with different colours around the edges :D

Died when I dropped it in the pond though.

Since I'm a youngster:

"OMG YOU HAVE A CAMERA PHONE"

Motorola RAZR V3c

"OMG IS THAT THE RAZR IT'S SO THIN"

(then it seemed 2 months later they dropped like $200 in price and everyone had one)

and it was all iPhone from there.

Any of the old school Nokia phones, they always worked, had great reception, durable...

I remember they even had outstanding customer service. I was climbing a ladder in a theater once and a pipe went through the plastic over the screen. Called Nokia and they sent a new piece out to me free of charge.

The good old days...

LG VX8100. Not sure why but I really liked this phone a lot. Felt great in the hands, really small and compact. Had basically zero useful features but with the extended battery I had on it, the thing lasted forever. And it was on Verizon.

Q Phone

Kyocera (nee Qualcomm)'s Q Phone was my favorite -- balanced, usable, and not all that "dumb."

Oh, and it had a sweet "Sonar" ringtone that was at once attention-grabbing but ethereal, so that often folks would ask, "Did you hear something?" rather than say, "Your phone is ringing," by which point I had either silenced it (button conveniently on the top, outside) or excused myself.

w810i

For me, it was the w810i easily. Prior to that my favorite was the Samsung SGH-R225. The w810i was the last phone i had before I made the jump to smartphones (my first smartphone was also the WORST Smartphone ever: The T-Mobile Wing).

Sony Ericsson T610

I think I got one in 2003, I loved the styling so much I kept it until 2005, and thought the interface was great so always got Sony Ericsson phones after that. However now my contract is nearly up and I realise how dated my current C902 is, and am looking forward to upgrading to an iPhone in the next couple of days!

A more solid phone than the Ericsson SH888 has never existed. Dropped it more often than I can remember and used it as a hammer, bottle opener, wrench and occasionally I used it to speak on it.

I had a blue Ericcson that looks almost like this. But a bit more curved. I think it may have been a generation or two after this one. I had it in around 2001. No idea what the model # was though. I've been trying to Google Image a picture of it, but can't find one.

I loved that one, too. It was one of my very favorite phones. It did, however, fail me. I had it 3 years though, so it had to give up eventually. Poor phone. :(
