My very, very favorite dumb phone (The SE T610):

An aside: I've noticed that a good many of these favorites are SE phones.

If not, they're Motorola flip phones. Interesting.

It was some samgsung phone I had on sprint. It was a small flip phone. Great little thing that did its job for a phone really well.

Not that old but I loved this phone. Survived many many drops. Still have it and it still works :D My upgrade phone was an iPhone 3GS

The Samsung E700 was my all time favourite phone before I got the iPhone. I also had a SonyEricsson W880i in between the E700 and the original iPhone.

I broke the internal screen of the E700 when I was learning to drive and I...um... might have had it in my pocket while getting out of the car and pushing it against the steering wheel.
This phone was so small and so handy. I remember how useful I though the external screen was, since that showed me who was calling even when the phone was "flipped close".

The W880i had small buttons and that's about everything that I loved about it.

My favorite is the samsung phone that ohaithar posted an image of on the top of page 2, took a bit of getting used to typing on keys so small, but I used the thing for a good 2 years, and now my mom is using it, and she loves it.

Thread is about non-smartphone, Full keyboard and email makes it at lease smarter than the rest. ;)

lol I didn't realize the rules were that strict, but that phone wasn't really useful for anything other than calls and texts, I atleast never used it for email, the screen was tiny and the buttons were even smaller. I can't imagine going back to it from my iPhone 4.

Edit) Remembered that while it could do email it was mainly by syncing it with a computer, not downloading it directly like a real smart phone.

:D:D:D Don't get me wrong, I am not the rules enforcer by any means lol....But next this Nokia,,that one is ligt years ahead .... I don't even think "email" was something a regular dude could have, back them was more like a cool enterprise stuff.

Years ago when flip phones were hot I had a Sammy 3500 and loved it. Had voice dial and was pocket sized.

My first cell phone. Came with a car that I bought. $30 for 30 minutes.

Nokia 6101

That was a good phone! It wasn't very waterproof though...

My personal favorite though has to be the RAZR V3xx. I had it before I bought the original iPhone right after launch day, and my dad is still using it now... it's a little beat up but still going strong.

My old Nokia 6820 is still the best texting device I have ever used. When you flipped the keyboard open during a call it would switch to speaker. So awesome!

I loved my Razr and my Nokia 6300, but my favorite was the Samsung X820. There was one more phone thinner than it, but not much since that.

I'd put 3310 because it was my first phone and just rocked (with its revolutionary make your own ringtone creator), but this....

Sagem MyX-5. One of the first colour phones that came out and I had to have it. Have to say, it was totally shockingly bad. I stopped using it because the software crashed and I couldn't ever fully boot it up without it going extremely slow.
