My shortlist

- Single Tap and Hold on Home Button for Favorites
- Fix Safari sensitivity
- ADD spell check to Mobile Safari
- Add a user accessible file folder system, big for the iPad
- Add wireless syncing to iTunes
- Allow the iPhone to tether to the iPad

I know it makes WAY too much sense. That coupled with a USB port could make the iPad a serious portable productivity device with a light but efficient and powerful OS, why would anybody want that.

Hm, well, this for one.

The antenna fix, for sure, even though it isn't affecting me much.

That's about all there is to update. right?

From what I heard it's that if they open that up to users, it'll open the phone's security up a lot.

Not sure what the connection is though.

I understand that, but I can't see how it would be anymore of a threat than it is on OSX, and its had user accessible file folders for years...
 
Reception fix
Instant folder opening. I hate the delay.
Triple click for favorites option (or double tap and hold)
Custom backgrounds for folders
Widgets

Ahh... I forgot about Widgets, that's a big one

I would assume your talking about widgets for the home screen, I'll add

- Widgets for lock screen (or at least some dynamic info on new e-mails, voice mails, etc.)
 
Know it will not happen but I have always wanted to be able to assign ringtones to groups and to create groups within the iphone. I do not understand why this would be so difficult.

#1 Fix Antenna Issue
 
Don't listen to Killmoms, there's no reason for Apple to not implement this. I just think it would be hard to do and keep everything sandboxed well, but not impossible. Eventually, hopefully in one of the next few major operating system updates, Apple will add this, or something similar.
 
Unified Inbox - email accounts tagged by color

Mobile Me supports reply via default with non Mobile Me account (iphone and ipad not yet supported)

FM Radio enabled

More then 12 items per folder

Choose a folder icon

iPad - TABS (dont give me that lack of RAM crap as other browsers on ipad do it)

iPad - file system (not full control but give us docs, pics and able to view and access them on the desktop not thru bloody iTunes)

I didn't notice it at first either. The way I found out was that I reogranized my home screen. I put all of my home screen apps into two folders. Right now I have messages and phone on the dock and 4 folders on the top. I noticed the delay because I'm used to just clicking on something and it opening. Now, I have to click the folder first and so I noticed the delay when clicking it.

Even if it was a simple closed off file system i.e. user, docs folder, pic folder that was accessed on desktop instead of iTunes then i would be happy

The folder icon is a good one, I wounder how that would work. Would we select one of the 12 icons for the group, or could they come up with an easy way for us to make custom icons (maybe provide a set of clip-art icons to select from). Cosmetically this would be a great addition to the OS...

I'll take this one step further. Let us chose our own images for all of the icons in the OS... any icon. This way we can design our own icons on our computer and use them in our phone. And another step further, let us create icon templates that we can share with each other. Just add this feature to folder icons as well.

I know :(

I may seem like I'm bitching but honestly, I absolutely love my iPhone 4. I still think I make some valid comments.

Also I really wish I could record something with the mic and use it for an alarm or even a ring tone. I want to yell at myself in the morning "WAKE THE **** UP ALREADY!!!"
