Whats a good time to head to the Apple Store on the 11th??

Since Apple stated they were selling the iPad 2 on 5pm, What time do you think is best to beginning waiting outside the store.
I figured going around 3:00pm but seeing as how big the iPad is, I may have to go sooner.
 
I doubt iPad will sell out on all models. If you are buying 16GB or 32 GB then, you should be at the store around 2-3 PM. If you are buying high end models, then should not worry at all.

You have a point there, considering I might be getting the 16GB Model
 
Well it depends on where you live, if there are a lot of apple stores near you a it depends on how big they are. The Opening is at 5pm if I could I would go but I get out of school at 3 and I bet there will be a mile line even then. But that is my apple store. I'll try to go but I doubt it.

I haven't a clue as to whether there will be line, or huge lines, or what. It's hard to predict.

I guess there might be lines as there's no pre-order (strange)

What do you think?
 
For iPad 3G, I waited 3hrs and got mines at 5:13PM at my local apple store, I was roughly 35 in line, by 5pm there was 103 people in line or so.... and let groups of 20-30 inside, and gave people free waters
 
Apple Stores probably will have a line because that's where most people will go to by default. Best Buy, WalMart and Sam's Club I don't see having a line, most consumers probably won't even know WalMart, let alone Sam's Club, is even carrying it.

Same here. If anything, the 16GB should sell out first, but the 32GB is going to be an pretty popular option too. I believe the 64 should be no problem though.
 
After doing some search, it turns out there is only 1 Apple Store around my area :eek:

Looks like I should show up at 1:30pm

The correct grammar is " it got mine" or preferable I purchased mine
 
Ill be paying my cousin 10 bucks to start standing in line at the palo alto (univeristy store) around noon. Luckily, there is a red mango near and a borders books

When constructing a sentence, it is preferable to end it with a period. :rolleyes:

I figure if you are wanting to be the grammar police, you should probably make sure your own "stuff" is in gear. Have a nice day.
 
I will be getting a 64GB w/ 3G. I wonder if Best Buy and Wal-Mart will be getting the 3G on day 1?

What are you talking about???

His original sentence is just fine, except it should be "mine" instead of "mines"; whereas your suggestion "it got mine" is incorrect. There is no need for the "it" pronoun whatsoever.

Man, fix your own s*it first. It's got plenty of mistakes of its own. :rolleyes:
 
I get off work @ 4 daily and I'll probably just hop on the bus for a 10 minute ride to the Apple store. I may be there for a couple of hours so I'll probably just have my fiance pick me up when I'm done.
 
I am gonna have my wife drop me off around 2pm.. and then she's gonna go shopping and I will just hang around apple store.. and as it nears 5pm, will send out wife to scan local bestbuy and walmart to see if there's any line.

This is NJ.. gardenstate mall.
