I haven't been using the "3D Touch" gimmick very much, but I feel the way it'd be most beneficial to the user is if the user could choose what the drop-down menu includes

On my iPhone 6s the "Sunrise to Sunset" option is missing from the schedule menu for Night Shift.

Anyone else experience this or know how to fix it?

My wife doesn't need the Night Shift, she can sleep anytime whenever she decides. I hope this F.lux like features works for me, the only problem is it's more on head problem for me than light problem when I go to bed. Other features sounds very exciting this might encourage me to use 3D Touch more often.

I might be in a minority to actually care, but I can confirm the graphs which made no sense as line graphs in the Health are now bar graphs.

In less good news, they have done something with the algorithm that decides the max and mins to show on some other graphs, e.g. weight. I put on about 5 lbs over Christmas, which I have almost lost again now, but because the weight graph covers 35 lbs from low to high point, that fluctuation looks virtually non existent on the graph.

I have not had a chance to update yet but this sounds too bad. It should, and I think you would agree, adjust the graph scale to the upper and lower range of the current data. The full graph scale should he 5lbs top to bottom.

Its weird - the Body Fat Percentage one looks OK, and previously they would pretty much mirror each other.

I guess you can make out the difference, but its definitely not as pronounced as it was.

I have posted feedback to that effect to Apple.

Here are steps and walking / running distance - so much better now as bar graphs:

few people will store sensitive info in a note verses Message or email a friend or family member bank, social, password, address, etc info... I've done it, my best friend and I share accounts on varies services. The user/pass has been texted.
Sure there are some people that would share sensitive information like that sometimes. That doesn't really mean that few people would store personal information in notes given that that type of practice has been around since desktop days for quite a few people.

Sure some improvements like that would be useful, as they would be when it comes to many things. None of that makes 3D Touch a gimmick though.

How do you track your daily weight?

How do you track your daily weight?

Fitbit - went on a bit of a weigh loss effort at the start of 2014. Use their scales which sync automatically over wifi with my Fitbit account / apps and my Fitbit app is sharing with the health app. (Weirdly it doesn't do it directly, by there are apps like Sync Solver which send it over to the health app.

How long does it usually take to go from beta to public release?

There are a number of apps that you can do this with.

One I use is MyFitnessPal , it automatically pulls data from fitbit which gets it from my scale. But you can also manually enter them in the MyFitnessPal app and it will log it into Health

Finally! My mom's passwords will be relatively more safe! --- Now just need to convince her to stop using "Password" ;)

Seems like a big update, considering IOS 10 will probably be announced at WWDC.

I think Steve would have praised every single Cook decision. Cook knew Steve better than ANYONE. He is obviously keeping his spirit alive in the company. Anyone who says otherwise has zero clue as to what they are talking about. 3D Touch is a killer feature, the new Night Shift is awesome, education is getting a much needed makeover, and if you aren't in HealthKit (looking at you Fitbit) you are going to fail.

Totally agree. I mentioned this in another thread as well. That would be a nice level of customization to that functionality and I'd use it a lot more if I could configure those contextual menus.

I wonder if u can use the Night Shift mode, to save on battery life ?

knowing Apple that will be the 'next big thing'

Showing different colors less colorful in order to help save on battery usage since not displaying as much.. We already have a head start on that already with AMOLED displays don't we :D

A feature that requires relatively low resources not available on non-64 bit devices... What exactly requires that in a process that changes color temperature?

I like the sepia hue, that my iPhone screen has, now that the sun is down, but I hardly consider it game changing. Way to go Apple.

Well with LCD the color doesn't change how much power is used.

Whatever controls the customizability of it is likely based in 64-bit libraries and frameworks.
