Seen it. I quite liked it as a show. A bit quirky, but I don’t mind that.

It's the only Nicola Walker series I have seen where she seems to be actually enjoying herself while making it. In everything else (Unforgotten, Spooks, River) she always seemed to be miserable.

I liked Spooks. But probably went on far a season longer than it should.

I got my bike back today - (mentioned this in the espresso thread) - It seems good 🙂
But they don’t know what they’re doing at all in that shop.

I’m 100% sure that my tires had a different colour when I left the bike there 😂
I also asked them to change them as they were pretty worn out, when I handed in the bike.
When I picked it up today the wires were of another colour and seemed new.

The guy in the shop said the they didn’t changed the tires as they seemed good.
I truly accepted that I got new tires for free - for the delay and mess they caused 🙏

Long ago I took my rust colored car to a school sponsored car wash. Kids were raising funds for a special field trip. When I came back to pick up my rust colored car it was no where to be seen. After half an hour of searching, it turned out there was a car of the same make, model and year as mine, but red. 💡I originally had a red car. I never washed it years.😅

I did some work in his office at Uni in 1989
He shook my hand and I think it was the largest hand I ever shook!

These days, we are both international election observers, and we usually meet for a good chat and coffee and/or brunch (poached eggs seem to feature a lot) someplace salubrious, elegant, spacious and pleasant, rich with history and redolent of atmosphere that serves good food, three or four times a year.

It's too hot; 97º (36C) temperature the last couple of days with more hot days (and nights) in the near term forecast.

And I don't like hearing about wildfires burning nearby. That was Wednesday evening. Fortunately the fire department responded quickly and a few hours later the fire was put out.

It's the pre-bushfire planned burn-off season here. There were 5 planned burns within 20 kms of my house. It was so bad my neighbour rang up to ask if our house was on fire...

Haha, nah I can see the difference between worn out tires, and tires that have different coolors.
It’s not unusual on bikes, more then I have seen on most cars at least.

Pretty close to the difference of the tires I spoke of below.
I do wash my bikes, as I’ve done with cars as well.

Thinking about my friend in South Carolina. His AC broke and the landlord won't get it fixed until Tuesday. I offered him to come down here to FL, but he declined. I guess he could always buy a cheap window unit for his room until then.

Also got the MRI results back and I have 2 bulging discs, stenosis in 2 places, a bone spur pressing on the nerve, and degeneration of discs in the mid-thoracic part of the spine. Lovely. The PT said "If it were up to me, man, you'd be having surgery." Now I just have to wait until I see the doctor on Monday and go from there.
