Currently thinking about a person close to me, how people's perspectives can differ on any single situation, and how past experiences shape the way we see those around us.

Also thinking about listening to a certain song @SandboxGeneral has been dropping some great hints about..

Third, for the first time in ages enjoying an ice cold Lonkero. Not really something that's on my mind, but still.

edit: One other thing, my right eye is broken. I still have the gift of sight, but the eye is red and leaking, for lack of a better word. This inconveniences, and aggravates me greatly.

I'm reaching up and reaching out.
I'm reaching for the random or whatever will bewilder me.

How pressure waves through a gaseous medium impact the receptors causing biochemical reactions which accelerate neurological activity and electromagnetic interactions in an intangible manner moving the complexity of existence.

Or, become Pneuma.

Drinking some good rum and deep cleaning the apartment. Trying not to think too much at the moment so my mind is kind of blank.

Interesting stuff, one of the things I most dislike when it comes to the human experience is cleaning. I obviously still do it in regular intervals, and enjoy a clean dwelling, but it's always a chore of the worst kind. Except for when there's beverages involved. Then it suddenly becomes this almost meditative exercise, especially when conducted in the middle of the night. Earbuds in, good music blaring and so on.

Now if someone could develop a vacuum cleaner that makes little to no sound, so I could also vacuum in the middle of the night...

Central vacuuming achieves this to an extent.
Not great for vacuuming the car though!

I had a really bizarre dream when I was testing products we sell at work. I write a really comprehensive report for the supplier explaining what was wrong with them.
The funny thing is it was not the sort of thing I do at work at all. I don’t have much to do with that range of products at all and wouldn’t be doing the fault finding on them if we had to at work.

Now I’ve got to go into the office and already feel like I’ve done a days work.

Sometimes it's difficult to tell who's more out-there, you or Gutty. It's very likely a byproduct from you not eating enough meat and fish of any kind.

Speaking of fish, I had some delectable fried anchovies at an Italian bistro today for lunch as an appetizer before I had my main course.

Ah, anchovies.

I love anchovies; how were they served?

I've been thinking about trying a minor reset in my life. I am considering moving out of Arizona and finding a new home. I am currently living in the estate of my deceased stepfather, which would be sold. Currently looking at where I might want to live. It's difficult for me to part with this land, but I think it will be for the better.

On a much simpler note, thinking of buying some iPod shuffles to load up for hiking.

I love iPod shuffles! (and my raft of old 2nd gen iPod nanos too)

On the reset of a homestead: always fun to imagine living somewhere else. Also fun trying different places out over vacations or even mini-vacations; my favorites were five-day weekends. Still "wherever one goes, there one is..." and a different backdrop doesn't change underlying issues if those contribute to unhappiness where one currently resides.

But the grass can really be (and stay) greener on the other side sometimes. I eventually wanted the green grass and the mountains and the quiet up here more than I still wanted the ever ratcheting-up expenses of my old familiar stomping grounds in ultra-urban NYC. That's still true now even if I will forever miss the city's energizing hustle and its ethnic mix... and the food! Alas, I am still a very amateur "international chef", and now facing 120-mile round trips to re-up on assorted Asian market items.

On the upside of living anywhere: People in the boondocks are not that different from folks in the city. Most mind their own business no matter the venue, and will give you a hand if you reach out in turn. It's human nature... at its best. There are exceptions, sure. Main thing is try not to be one...

Good luck with your explorations of what's out there beyond Arizona horizons.

They were drenched in a spicy flour. I asked for that heat, actually. Served with a lemon wedge and garlic aioli. They were cooked perfectly. Not dry. Most places overcook them.

My condolences. I would keep onto that land and house and rent it out and move somewhere small and cheap. Collect that rent money. Continue working if you do work. It's a secondary source of income.

Watch his hands! 🤨

I'd bring a working dog, they'll herd anything that gets out of line. :)

LOL while it's still that thing Bill Hicks hoped would fall sooner rather than later into the sea?!

I liked it out there (SF) but never got used to the teacups rattling in the china cupboards at random breakfast hours.

Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves.
Followed by fault lines that cannot sit still.
Followed by millions of dumbfounded dip *****.
