Catalina is on my mind..... I was surprised to see that it has launched today. Not going to download and install it for a day or two, though, see how others fare with it first!

Yah I'm sometimes an early adopter of hardware, not so much software or an OS. I do ask questions of beta testers sometimes but still hang back from a new release.

So... I'm waiting until I buy my next laptop, on which Catalina will come pre-installed. My existing gear is happy enough running Mojave but that's about as far as they're going to go. Meanwhile I'll keep up with other people's experiences by cruising the Catalina-related threads. Sometime by summer next year I'll have decided which laptop to get. :)

Well, the module software people struck again...

Apparently, the web based module software I use for a job was updated. Then the makers of said software forgot to grant me permissions to email the client the work I do for the client.

I thought of this cinematic psychiatrist's famous chiding

(From George Romero's Dawn of the Dead).

I think "Stay calm in the face of stupid people" are words to live by.

Not fond of country music, neighborhood dogs, neighbors on my side if the house and Nor' Easters, one is grazing us now and I am not a fan of the rain boots I have to wear in weather like this.

Otherwise, I am good.

Hope you all are too.

Not a fan of country music either. But the key to listening to music is don’t insist on sharing your choices with your neighbors!

Having plenty of rain here to.

On my mind is my upcoming house move. Hopefully not too long now. Been here 17 years. That’s equally as long as the house I was born in and lived until I moved out.

Very fond of (some carefully selected) country music, especially fond of dogs of all kinds, neighbors are a mixed bag (haven't seen mine in who knows how long), but on the rain boots I have to agree with you. My work boots are made of some kind of fabric or another, but I've been using different sprays to make them more or less if not water proof, at least water resistant. It's mostly been successful, but today at work I stepped in to a deeper puddle and now I'd have to add wet socks to the list of things I'm not too fond of. Not that it was a new discovery, but still.

Other than that, almost everything is good. Glass of Calvados, good music, a good film just about to go into the player. Can't really complain.

Over thinking, over analyzing, separates the body from the mind

Actually, I rather like over-thinking and overanalysing; must have been something to do with my childhood.

Not least because I can remember my mother's voice crisply instructing us as children: "Now, don't forget to put your thinking cap on," an instruction that carried particular weight if something stupid beckoned with a seductive twinkling tempting attraction.
