Not looking forward to the company retreat this weekend. I feel as if employees will merely go through the motions of the retreat, but, not fully engulfing the changes and ideas to move the business forward...

Me : I hate music!

You : That's impossible to hear from anybody and most likely a lie.

Me : I may be lying to you, but i muted my phone.

You : How does that count as proof?

Me : I don't know, but i don't listen myself to music. I try to set volume down whenever music goes off in a video, and cannot stand it when others party nearby me.

You : Imma take that with a pinch of salt..

sorry for the cringe.

I just watched an interview on BBC2 UK with a wise old wizard and a fresh University Graduate. All very consuming and topical but they missed what the the young Grad said twice. Totally blasted over her point twice! N95 masks will protect you and others better than the cheap nonsense masks we all see people wearing (or almost wearing) these days. Twice she said it. Wear an N95 mask over your mouth and nose and you will significantly protect yourself and others.

Wearing the cheap masks is not helping, wear the mask under your chin obviously not helping, wear the mask over your mouth but not your nose. Why bother at all!

This pandemic cannot be blamed on Governments. We should blame ourselves, the great unwashed. We have been too ignorant, too blasé, too lazy to protect ourselves. You get what you wish for.

I wish for intelligence from the human race. Nah never going to happen.

I just want to go home to my family in the Philippines, hold my new born daughter who I have never seen. Unfortunately I have an army of human stupid in the UK stopping me from doing that. I appreciate stupid is not contained in the UK it is worldwide otherwise awe would not have a pandemic in the first place.

I have and 11 year old, 7 year old and 2 month old in the Philippines. The older two have had 35 vaccinations since birth including boosters so far they are like pin cushions. If they drink juice it probably leaks out of there skin like a colander! Will they have a COVID jab? yep for sure. Japanese Encephalitis, Chicken Pox, Measles, bring it all on.

Both the 11 year old and the 7 year old have not had one dangerous or life threatening disease in their life. I was born in 1960 when these vaccines were not available. I almost died from an enlarged spleen after chicken pox. VAX just do it

After got the 3rd shot of the vaccin, I wonder if it’s time to go back to gym, grouptraining, Ashtanga etc
There’s a place open in town with one of my earlier good Ashtanga teachers….
We’ll see…
At this very moment, outdoors is most attractive however, as weather is very mild for the season ?

I'm remember back in day I had go through a long line of shots (at least 9) I know one was tetanus, one was polo, and another was for Smallpox! The others I had no idea what the other shots were for and sometimes wonder! then a couple of years go by and I'm in Japan! I then went to Okinawa to get the YellowFever shot and that was weirdest even more then 7 year old stile anthrax shots over 7 years as young adult growing up on a farm!

So now with the there virus shots today don't even come close to yellow fever shot I got! After they shot me I had to stay in lobby for at least 30 minutes I felt for about 3 minutes of having a high fever with me sweating out the fever in lass then 10 minutes! Then I went back to room and changed all my cloths because I sweated so much and quick shower to was off all my sweat! Everyone I worked with said they had the same thing happen to them too! So that was strangest shot I ever received!

I remember getting all those weird shots too! Not a lot of fun.

And... on a different note.
I saw something this evening that I hadn't seen for some 60 years.
This was a great flight of flying foxes going to their feeding grounds at dusk. It was about 50 metres wide and a couple of km long, with animals of various sizes, so it must have included juveniles as well as adults.

As do I.

@satcomer: Some of those shots may have included HepA & Hep B; I know mine did.

While I recall the yellow fever shot, the one that really had an effect on me was the rabies shot (an evil vaccine, - I remember feeling murderously short-tempered, whereas I am normally pretty calm, and collected and composed - but, as my mother saliently pointed out, "think of what it is designed to protect you from.")

What's on my mind, as a Djokovic fan (and I am fully vaxxed) nothing that would not get me likely into trouble.

So to change up I upgraded to MacOS Monterey and my 2015 iMac feels like new - really good upgrade and makes memories of Catalina and High Sierra fade away.

Doesn’t seem like there will be any French Open for Djocovic either - unless he gets vaccinated.

What do I care, I rather watch Ski Classic and other winter sport at the moment.
At summers, theres better things, usually.
Was long time ago I watched tennis… don’t even know who are the best tennis women are today ?

Well, it does't seem so intelligent to refuse to get vaxxed imo. What got my attention.
We live in a fk pandemic.

Tsunamis are on my mind.
First, for the people of Tonga who were only 65 miles away, and who now have to cope with volcano ash as well as tsunami damage.
Second for my wife's people, at the southern end of New Ireland (PNG), who have been getting a whole series of small waves for the past few days. These are not enough to do damage, but are strong enough to pull children and some adults into deep water.

This is now a political question. Now it gets interesting in a larger context.
See where this goes with the Djoker AND other anti-vaxxers losing or keeping there sponsors???
Are allowed or not to participate in tournaments without getting vaxxed?

This would be a good topic for discussion but I fear it is getting too political.
Fortunately those things just passes through my mind. No need to discuss it. ?

I actually played a little tennis at very young age, but didn't got hooked. Badminton was a lot more fun in a period. As I knew a woman who was in the top in Europe for awhile. We were usually 3 girls that exchanged with each other in playing with her. Sweaty!

Now more occupied with my new double poling equipment, and the training ache after just using it 1st day.
Done much more sports focused on legs, so I figured let the ski ladies and men inspire me into something new myself.
We don't have that much snow around here to do a LOT skiing.
But da@#n, this is good training for upper body. Roller-skis are always an alternative if I get hooked. ?
