you asked for his opinion and he gave it! not much to argue over here.

as far as customer service is concered, i personally havent dealt with a company that is as good as Apple in this area, but thats just me, cant speak for everyone!

I didn't ask for his opinion, I asked for facts. Not an arguement...just a debate :)

No, you asked him why he thinks Apple gives him most for his money. Value is always subjective.

but anyway this is silly!

iPhone transforming into an actual airplane when set on Airplane Mode would also be nice.

The current screen size is simply unacceptable for a high end device in today's market so that obviously gets my vote. Apple should consider releasing a iPhone with a 4+ inch screen for most users and leaving a model at 3.5" for anyone who has midget fingers or wants a lower end device.
This is exactly what they'll do. a 4" in September and the 4S (which will stand for small) will still be available for people who want the smallest smartphone on the market.

You asked for reasons as to how Apple offer more for your money. And I gave you an answer!

which isn't a solid answer, as it is not true against other manufacturers. (it is true but just others offer the same) anyway its all good :)

back to topic

I think 'No home button' should of been an option

I voted for battery life, but by that I mean significantly, not just an extra 1 hour or whatever otherwise it would be iOS 6 I suppose and 4G ain't even here in the UK yet (although it seems highly probable that the next iphone will have lte anyway) :)

I can't believe more people didn't vote iOS 6

i think its pretty much a given iOS6 is coming with the next iPhone no? i dunno, iOS6 is something we are guaranteed to get at some point, a 4 inch screen isnt.

yeah, you are right. Now i wish i could take back my vote

As much as I'd love to see a bigger screen, or other hardware improvements, in my opinion, nothing needs more improving than iOS. There are things which we should be able to do with a smartphone these days that iOS doesn't allow. And there needs to be some major advances made with certain areas (namely the keyboard, which is virtually un-usable for anyone who thumbs evenly remotely fast; safari, which has gotten cumbersome to use compared to Chrome on Android; and voice navigation... just to name a few).

I'd love to return to iOS when these changes occur.

I agree, the iPhone keyboard is largely outclassed by others like SwiftKey X on Android. The prediction system is invasive and limited, it definitely needs an improvement. I think there already is an alternative under the hood, I bet it will be included in iOS 6: http://www.theverge.com/2011/11/10/2551490/ios-5-keyboard-hidden-autocorrect

I still love the design of the 4/4S, so I for one would not be remotely upset if the new iPhone looks the same. In fact, I kind of hope it does. Though I wouldn't mind seeing the glass back replaced with anodized aluminium, but I'm not holding my breath. Aluminium is not good for antennas, and I'd rather have a glass black than aluminium with a tacky plastic patch, like on the iPad.

For me, the biggest draw of the new iPhone is LTE. I'm also excited to upgrade my 4 to get a better camera, since I take lots of photos with my iPhone, but I'd be happy with the 4S camera, so any further improvement there is gravy.

Why can't they make it as thin as the iPod touch? are the radios really that large? Look at how thin many new Samsung and Motorola phones are getting and they have 4G/LTE radios in them...The 5.3 inch Galaxy Note is way thinner than an iPhone.

It's also much wider and taller too...

I still want an optical zoom on the camera... really would make a big difference, even just 2x-3x.
