I don't know if you're required to replace a keyboard with one of the same color. If mix and match works, I'd like to see a white or citrus keyboard in an indigo case, or indigo keyboard in a citrus case. Blush KB in indigo case would also look nice.

Lovely idea to mix and match - after sales extra or could Apple do it to order ?

I had a citrus and the color is just too much on the green side for me. I like the indigo, but the keys are too dark and I peck at the keyboard. The silver is nice but a little too plain. I ordered the blush (kinda silver/pink). I wish they had a rose gold color.

I went with Indigo and it has been a touch typing skills exercise in dim lighting. I think I’m getting better.

Indigo looks the best by far. White keyboards look nice in photos, but I’d never trust them long term.

Guessing again, probably not. I’d imagine the cost to have this done wouldn’t be worth it. Juice not worth the squeeze so to speak.

I'd strongly recommend going into an Apple Store if you have one nearby to see in person. It's subjective.

Personally I went with citrus here and happy with keyboard since I can see the lighter color "contrast" of keys even without backlighting. Was also ready for a change from daily silver over the past years.

I agree. Go and see them in person if you can. I got the Blush and am very happy with my choice. I didn't go to the store until after I had ordered and I lucked out with my choice. I knew I didn't want silver, too boring, the Indigo was too dark so it was between the Blush and the Citrus. It turned out in person the Citrus was a bit too aggressive for my tastes (I would have come to regret it in a few weeks) so I made a good choice.
