I think skinny jeans are great, as it adds one more obviously stupid thing to the list of things I'm not doing at any given time.

What IS the deal with tight pants?
I mean, they're so tight, I can't even get my change out.
It's my change. Stop being so tight!
LOL :D

Why would you want to miss out on this fashion trend?!?!?!

Yeah, I remember the days I used to wear briefs instead of boxers. Ughh how uncomfortable.
LOL :D

I wore briefs up until Freshman year in High School, then I realized how 'uncool' they were. So I changed to Boxers. Then, senior year, I found Boxer Briefs <3.

Lately, I've been free ballin' it tho.:p

I hate tight pants, especially those stupid jeans. It comes across as pretentious and self-indulgent. Plus, the people who shouldn't wear them are always the people who do. Ain't nothin' worse than a male muffin top.

They're a fashion don't.

This thread is so funny: Where are most of you from that the thought of tight jeans is such a fashion blasphemy?!?!?!!?

Like some have mentioned, tight jeans have been around for some time: Rockers, metalheads, headbangers have been wearing tight jeans as a staple and they look great in them. Iggy Pop wears it like a calling.

And as someone mentioned, some suit it well. I can easily post pics of fat men in tank tops who look like they're 12-months overdue, or fat girls in tight tanks with multiple rolls of belly fat bigger than their breasts making them look like Yarna d'al' Gargan and claim that no one should ever wear tank tops.

A guy's got to have great proportions to wear tight jeans.

And for those who are anti-tight jeans but wear bootcut... Oh boy, where I'm from, ONLY Guidos wear bootcut. :D

Sorry, I can't dangle. The thing has to be immobilized or I embarrass myself constantly.

No- they do not suit anyone. They are a fashion don't.

Yeah that has happened to me, but it's worth the freedom. Also they say it is better for your little guys if your wanting to have kids.

I'm in advertising in Chicago and work in the fashion end of the business. Trust me when I tell you they are NOT OK. ;)

BTW- Iggy Pop is not a pretty man. Love his stuff, but ouch on the eyes! :)

I'm not having kids, so I guess it's OK. :)

That's the faggiest thing I've seen in awhile.

Just wait until the fashion trend hits the fat hetero demographic.

Unlike the fat guy with the Speedo, the tight pants help push all the fat upward until it snowcones out the top and spills over the top of the pants in jiggling waves.

Who cares what people wear? People were outraged when women started to wear pants, mini skirts, bikinis... Men have worn tight jeans, bell bottoms, baggy jeans and back to tight jeans. WHO CARES??? You all sound like old people complaining about "kids these days..."

I've seen it here already. It's awful. Those jeans are also terrifying on guys with no butts.

x 2. Fashion is always, and will always be subjective.

Umm...it ain't just the kids, sweetie. That's part of the problem. ;)

No- not in this case. :)

But why is that a problem? My point with that comment is that you all sound like old people complaining about change they don't understand. A couple of years from now (maybe less) there will be another fashion trend people will complain about about and it will keep happening over and over again. So what?

i agree. its always 'something' and its always 'something' because its not what we grew up with, or because its new and different. etc. and fashion will always be a subjective thing, but that doesn't mean that people won't dislike it just as much as the last fashion trend, for just being a silly stupid trend. ;)

It's not so much that it's change that people don't understand, as it is that people don't want to look at ugly. Aversion to change and aversion to ugly are not the same thing.

Oh please- Change? New and different? It's recycled from decades ago. There hasn't been anything new for a very long time. It was bad then and it's bad now. I've been waiting for something new to happen since the 80s.

Yep.

So? Isn't that the case with pretty much all fashion?

So now people shouldn't wear what they want if a few people think it's ugly? Also, isn't ugly subjective?

Although aesthetics constantly change.

"Ugly" again is entirely subjective. To those wearing tight jeans an individual wearing a suit might seem entirely "ugly".
