Well... per the forums own rules, one could ask for the source of the claim.

So, @Hieveryone, you claim your state has opened, including bars and restaurant, per your governor‘s order. Please cite the source for your claim.

Not gonna say where I live but here’s a map

I’ll refer you to the map. Not gonna say where I live @Scepticalscribe

Well, maybe not the first thing, but one of the first things I will do is to begin paying more attention to speed limits.

With lower volumes of traffic and practically nonexistent speed enforcement during this quarantine/lockdown/whatever you want to call it, driving has, overall, been a lot more fun.

Sadly, this is about to come to an end. But that’s ok. That aspect was fun while it lasted.

The rest, not so much.

Lol! Interesting take.

I got caught in a 3 HOUR traffic jam day before yesterday

Yesterday I got stuck in another traffic jam but know a shortcut that only took an hour

Traffic is WORSE than usual already because everyone’s rushing out

Why?

Why the coy reluctance to offer facts in support of what you write?

Why then cite your governor?

Without corroboration, such a statement is worthless.

For all we know your governor could be a figment of your impressive imagination.

Yeah I mean you’re free to believe whatever

Yeah I mean you’re free to believe whatever

Since you consistently cite the (supposed, imaginary, possibly entirely fictitious) governor as a theoretical support for your marked preference for suspending the quarantine recommendations (or were they actually regulations?) and thereby, allowing people to engage in this silly, reckless, potentially dangerous policy, perhaps you could offer an actual quote, or citation for what the governor has actually said, and what this person, real or imaginary, is supposedly prepared to permit in his or her state?

I think it’s better you just not believe me and do something else today

I gave you a map for you to read, you can go through that today if you’d like and try to figure out what America’s up to and where I could be if you’d like

That’s a good one!

If it doesn’t make sense to me why would I listen to it?
Why bother asking anyone on here anything in the first place if you're not able to understand anything?

You've made it perfectly clear that nothing makes sense to you. Because apparently outside of your circle of friends, nothing exists. If you haven't witnessed something first hand, fake news.

He/she doesn't answer questions, theres no truth to this thread, it's a fantasy thread, but quite entertaining none the less, if it wasn't so serious it would be sad, but it's laughable really, because it can not be real.

I'm on a warning from the mods, so I'm trying to be careful, if anyone looks at the figures and considers the situation in the OP's home country, there is no way a level headed citizen could make such reckless comments and feel confident.

A quite well known saying is " ignorance is bliss", seems quite appropriate here.
Think I've had 2 bans so far, for what have been deemed as personal attacks. Oops.

Without a precise context, geographical, socio-economic and political, in which to place them, maps mean nothing.

Facts, please, and sources: What state are you from, and who is this mythical governor whom you persist in claiming to cite?

Otherwise, - as with the maps you link, - and I am perfectly capable of reading maps, as I collect antique maps - without citations, and supporting facts, your posts are devoid of context, and therefore, as an argument in support of your stated stance on this issue, quite meaningless.

Well it has to make sense first.

If things are open why wouldn’t I go? It’s about my rights too, which needs be heeded.

Can’t just pretend like there’s no Constitution.

Still should use common sense though, but staying at home is boring unless your girlfriends coming over lol

Also, if you do look at the curve nationally, there’s no spike. It’s overall trending down.

Just gotta follow local rules

Well if it’s a mythical governor then he doesn’t exist anyway right?

You ask questions, because you don't know the answer to them. But because you're not able to understand the answer, you dismiss it.

I don't understand bio chemistry, I wouldn't dismiss what a bio chemist told me as being false though.

And I never told you to stay at home.

Possibly. Either way I’m definitely not going back into quarantine anytime soon unless my governor says we should

And what of the rights of others?

Those who - in turn - may be consequently - if inadvertently - infected by you and your friends?

... but staying at home is boring unless your girlfriends coming over lol

So, your right not to be bored transcends the rights of others who may wish to stay healthy and not become infected by those who may themselves have become infected as a result of socialising in groups in bars and clubs?

Well if it’s a mythical governor then he doesn’t exist anyway right?

Why quote a governor as an authority for the right to socialise during a global pandemic if you are not prepared to name - or cite - this authoritative source in more credible detail?

Why would the governor allow it if it wasn’t safe?
