I’ve had several Apple Watches, 3 I think, I’m not actually sure but that sounds about right.. Series 2, Series 4 and Series 5…

The Series 2 was a novelty, a new thing… I didn’t need it, but it was fun to have and I learnt to use functions that were useful to me and so on and so forth… I’ve had this Series 5 for several years, it’s fine, there are 3-4 functions that I use it for all the time but that‘s about it… I’ve managed to scratch the face several times, I don’t know how but its looking tired and I was thinking should I replace it…

The Series 8 is a lot of money , you could buy a really nice watch watch for that money, heck for the money I’ve spent on the S2,S4 and S5 I could have myself a really really nice watch… something that looks good on the wrist…. Of course then you lose all the functions that the Apple watch offers…

I think I’d be okay, I think I really would… sure I’d miss some of it… but I honestly think that if I broke or lost my Apple watch tomorrow there is no way I’d replace it… couldn’t justify it, not when there are two really nice Casio and Vitorinox watches sitting in my bedside locker…

So how long have I been without an Apple watch on? I think I might be done with the Apple watch…

Ever since I bought my first AW 3 - it's been on my wrist all the time, except for when I'm in the shower or charging it, which is usually when I'm showering.

It's the device that alerts me when I get important calls so it's on my wrist all the time - and the way those very important to me can contact me during DND hours. It's also my alarm clock.

I cannot imagine life without an AW. If it broke, I'd get a replacement the same day.

Did you get the SS or aluminum? I always get the aluminum, and I also trade in my previous watch when getting a new one. That way I don't feel so bad about how much I spend on the watch. I also was never interested in a watch that looks good, back when I wore mechanical watches, it was because I needed to tell time. When I started carrying iPods and then iPhone, I stopped wearing watches because I could tell time by looking at the iPod/iPhone. I now wear the Apple watch mostly for fitness/health functions. To me, it's a gadget, not fashion.

Yep—probably my most ignored computer, yet I rarely miss a day wearing it since the day it came out in 2015. It’s in that group of things that gets put on or put in my pocket immediately before I start my day—glasses, wallet, phone, wedding ring, Apple Watch.

The reason I say I ignore it is because it just fits into daily life so seamlessly. I don’t actively “use” my Apple Watch most of the time. I just wear it and let it make my day easier.
