Depends on what you want to watch and how you want to watch it. Husband wants to watch season 4 of Dexter on his iPad. Can't do it that way through Netfix as they only have it through DVD. Amazon can stream it, but it only works with Flash--not doable on iDevices. That leaves iTunes if you have to have it now in an iDevice-friendly format (versus waiting for the DVD from Netflix).

For some things, iTunes is pretty much the only game in town.

Apples devices are lacking unless your wanting to spend alot for nothing. Most seasons can be watched instantly on netflix and the dvds take about a day to get so...

If I was making another 120k a year I wouldnt think twice about blowing it on a itunes rental. Then again I might wake up and realize its stupid even if I was a billionaire.

I can wait and watch it on a bigger screen with better sound!

Well it's 99 cents for HD TV Shows. So you're saving two dollars actually.

Or even if you do miss a show you can also DVR it like most people. And another way is our cable companies have free On Demand channels. So even if you miss a TV show, you just go to the On Demand channel and search for the show and the newest episode is almost always up there the next day.
