In Poland, where I was born, there is a law which forbids offending religious feelings/beliefs, and of course since "offensive" is not a clearly defined word, you can point at anything and say it offends you. I am a religious person myself, never you mind what religion it is, and there is nothing you could say or do that would offend my feelings. Because the only opinion that counts is my own.
The same should apply to technology, and in my personal case it does. You want an iPhone. I want an Xperia. Good. Let's go on with our lives and not have a pointless fight about whose choice is right-er. And when there are so many Apple haters AND Android haters (hardly any Newkia/Microsoft haters because no1currz) it's not really being different from the crowd when you're one of them
