Since phones keep getting bigger it seems the Pro is really just on a delay and ends up just as large. The 16 Pro should only be 0.2" shorter than the 6.5" XS and 11 Pro Max, which themselves are only 0.2" smaller than the 15 Pro Max.

The Pro got lots of love. You were lucky at one point to even get one online from Apple. I was originally going to get a Pro but grabbed a PM just because it was available and no Pro's to be found. YMMV

There’s nothing wrong with it, and it’s the best Pro phone since the iPhone X. I can’t wait to see what the 16 Pro offers, if it has a bigger screen I hope the dimensions aren’t wider. I miss the taller but thinner dimensions of the X and I’m hoping for something akin to that to come back.

Source: I used most Pros and X, and now the 15 Pro. Never used a Max phone, those are always going to be too big for me.

If anything, I see a lot of threads with complaints about the 15 Pro Max. Topics including lagginess, heat issues, camera sharpness, battery drain and screen burn-in…and this is just page 1. There’s even an entire thread dedicated to 15 Pro Max regret!

Went from all bigger phones from 6 to 12PM and now downsized to the 15 pro - LOVE IT. I really find myself using it more because it's easy to pull out/put away when I'm on the go. I was hesitant to go to the smaller size, but don't think I'll ever max out again. Nice to have choices

I love my 15 Pro! I upgraded from my 13 Pro which was great, but I never liked how heavy it was and how the steel edges were uncomfortable to hold. 15 Pro solves those problems and I’m happy.

Interesting to read everyone’s views on here. I went from a 13 mini to a standard 15 and happy with the increase in size so I relate to the OP on the 6.1”. For some reason it doesn’t feel much bigger than the 13 mini, perhaps because of the lower weight this year, I guess the 15 pro is similar to the standard 15 in that regard

Although on the flip side, it makes me wonder if I would ever get a 6.1” pro phone in future, it feels quite small these days. I may look to get the 6.7/6.8” pro max in future if I decide I want more camera features.

If Apple added 120hz to the standard models next year it does make the 6.1” pro a bit confusing in the line up. I can see Apple dropping it tbh.

i like the smaller form factor of the Pro. As far as the battery, mine has been fine. I easily make it through the day. I think the Pro is like the middle child. Not the biggest and baddest and not on the bottom on the pack either so the other models get more coverage.

I don’t care about 5x vs 3x. I don’t take many close up pics

The battery on the Pro charges up to 50% in like 30 minutes. Also you can use an external battery pack if needed.

With the PM it is always big. A bit too unwieldy va the Pro to me.

I don't like the iPhone 15 Pro, it is way too small and the battery life is bad.

If I need something really portable where an iPhone is annoying (such as for excerise), I just bring my Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Heck, sometimes I just go to the city with only my Apple Watch Ultra 2 since it handles calling, texting and also has Apple Pay.

I read many love letters on the 15PM: How awesome the display is, what an amazing battery life the phone has, that the 5x zoom changes the way we make photos a.s.o.
Almost no-one seems to talk about the 15 Pro. What's wrong with it? Is it the inferior device?
I really like my 15Pro: The size is perfect, I enjoy the native 3x zoom, battery life is good, I can handle it with one hand and it fits in any of my pockets.
Question is: Am I the only one, who really likes his 15Pro?
15p in white. PM is far too large for me.

Ditched my 13PM for a 15P - the PM is just too big and heavy especially when wearing shorts etc.

Plus the lack of being able to comfortably operate it single handedly makes the PM impractical in a lot of life situations (for me).

Op well the fact that the 15 Pro is sold out everywhere ATM suggests its very popular indeed, but naturally most people will talk about the Pro Max version more, because it is the full fat Pro model with no compromises.
Bigger size and weight are also compromises. On the smaller model smaller display and battery are compromises. So it comes down to user’s needs.

Battery life is not bad...at least for me. It gets me easily through a whole busy day.

What is bad about it? I have a 13 Pro with a battery in the mid 80% range and I make it though a day (5a to 10p-ish) with 20-30% battery remaining.

I don't carry a phone when I work out either. The less tech when I'm out on a trial run, the better.

I think think there is a risk the 15 Pro is doomed to be the "too small battery" phone of this generation. As the different models all have different battery capacities, there is inevitably one with the smallest. And when people using that one do not make it through the day they will blame it on the battery being too small, even though the other models would not have made it through the day at similar use either. Soon it will be a "known problem" of the 15 Pro, similar to how it was with the 12/13 Mini.
