Hey Friends,

I overslept and missed the 5 am launch of the Apple tv. I woke up at 6 am and put the order in showing an estimated delivery of May 21 - May 27 by Express Delivery. Did I make the cut?

I ordered mine 5 minutes ago. Same delivery time as everyone else who ordered at the 5 am launch. IOW, 16 hours later, and it still the same time. Not that big of a demand apparently

Ordered 64gb version about an 40min after launch-took an age with the empty basket problem- delivery has changed from 22 to the 27th May.

Same. Ordered Apple TV 32GB. Weirdly enough for me. It kept saying they were sold out immediately after launch. It took like five minutes of exiting out my Apple store app and back in to order. By then it said May 21-27.

I tried ordering at 5 am and got caught in the empty bag and out of stock problems. Order finally went in around 5:05 am. I got a May 21-27 for the 64GB. I had been trying for the 32 GB, but never was able to get that to work, even after 5 tries to check out.

I got May 21-27. I ordered 1 hour after start time. I bought 64gb version. I used the Apple Store app and paid with Apple Pay. I didn’t have any issues during the ordering process.

Got my order in at 8:06 am EST after trying for six minutes. I used the Apple Store app and got the 64gb with a May 21-27 window.

My email receipt says 8:19 AM Eastern. Will be here 27 May - 2 June. 32Gb.

thanks guys! I guess I made the initial cut. Must no be a crazy demand, I just figured I'd order one because my tv has hdmi 2.1 haha

Having never ordered an apple product on launch day how long does it usually take to go from processing to shipping?

Excited for the apple tv. Never had one before

It’s going to be along time since the product doesn’t launch until the 21st.

I ordered the remote only at 1326 EST and have a ridiculous delivery date of 9 June.

Isn’t Apple, you know, a trillion dollar company?

Nope. Apple will struggle to sell this. Lame update as well.

The funny part is paying 60 for that remote as some amazing upgrade. Looks terrible.

Actually, the funny part is people that have, obviously, chosen not to partake throwing their disparaging comments onto a thread like this which is pretty much intended for people that have ordered the product. Just not happy adding your 2 cents to the announcement threads?!

Ordered at 6am - 64GB - got May 28-June 3.

Why? HDMI 2.1 / eARC / A12 / 120Hz (when it's enabled at WWDC - Rumoured)

I ordered mine right after they resolved the shopping bag problem, and had May 21-28. Now it says it will be delivered on May 28.
Ordered a 64 GB.

I ordered mine like 2 hours after pre-orders opened up and got still got May 21st-28th. 64GB version.

My email confirmation last week stated 21-28th May, however if I go to the order in the Apple Store app it’s now showing delivery on 28th May.

So within their original parameters, just! :(

I got 21st to 28th May in the purchase (and I bought about 5 minutes after the release), and coming on the 27th at the moment. Have a hope it will creep forward nearer the time, but it'll be a couple of days rather than anything more I think.
