It’s COVID times. See how Apple promises “no contact delivery”? Signature requirement has been waived for awhile. Now you use mychoice to hold it somewhere if you feel like it’s unsafe for it to just be left.
I have one ordered thru Best Buy. Which says in store pick up Monday. What is bizarre. I guess it depends on the stock arriving earlier to the store. That I been going thru some of the forums. And some ppl have claimed that they got to pick up theirs yesterday. Even though it originally said Monday. But so far mine hasn’t updated. It just says Monday at the earliest.
Mine arrived in time yesterday! Like that I can change volume and mute from the remote. Coming from an Apple TV 3 it’s great to have apps and be able to stream live tv. Will be replacing my Sky and would like to buy another one. Very expensive though is the only negative as well and no Tv providers for the UK yet available.
Sorry for the bad picks. Took it from my break room. But I snagged one from Verizon! My Apple order has still been preparing for days. But I managed to get Verizon to send me one to my office today. Overnight.

Which apps allow you to stream live TV? I’d happily consider ditching Sky if I could find something that did this via Apple TV.
IPlayer, channel 4, itv, channel5 and I’m adding the Eurosport app (£40 a year) for the cycling. Also when watching live you get the option to watch from the start of the programme if you’ve missed the start. The quality of IPlayer is superb. I also will be ending my £36 Sky contract.
OK thanks, I also use the iPlayer app. It is indeed great quality. I thought you’d found a magic way to also get Sky channels live via the Apple TV. I’m pondering ditching Sky at my contract renewal and just using Now TV on a “pay as you go” basis, for example when I want to watch a particular football match.
Well I ordered the new ATV on Friday after the news about ARC for HomePod's came out (Going to return my remote order) and it arrived on Saturday. It's brilliant and works a charm!
NowTV for Sky Sports didn't work initially though, they hadn't added the new model ID to their servers 🤦♂️ But they've updated the app now.
Overall while it's not a massive upgrade from the gen 1 4K, the remote is lovely and the ability for my HomePods to be speakers for everything is brilliant. Very happy with the upgrade!

Has anyone that ordered from BestBuy got there Apple TV yet? I was supposed to have pickup today, but it's not looking like that will happen.
I ordered the 64GB Apple TV 4K at BestBuy.com on May 1. It was supposed to arrive to the store today for pickup, but it did not arrive. I called them and they told me its delayed for the next few weeks. I cancelled my order from Best Buy and placed an order at apple.com and it should arrive on Wednesday.

Placed my order through Apple on May 19 with a delivery date of May 27-June 4, and it hasn’t shipped yet. I realize it’s a bit early in the window, but I kinda thought it would have shipped by now (ya know, the whole underpromising to over deliver apple likes to do). Hoping I get it this week.
That's pretty weird, considering that the Apple Stores have stock. If you have one near you, maybe check to see if you can't pick one up?
Yeah it’s strange, but I’m not too worried about it. And unfortunately no, the closest store is a couple of hours away.
