Annoying when your order says express delivery but DHL shows 48 hr delivery. I wonder if we’d ordered from the Irish Apple store would that have helped - not sure if that’s possible. It’s not the end of the world but having it to play with over the weekend would have been nice. Currently showing that it’s sitting somewhere near Newcastle.

Berlin/Germany - my package moved from Prague to Berlin via Leipzig through the night. Now due today (previously next Tuesday)

Ditto. But still some confusion (in my mind) between my deliveries from Apple and Sonos. I’ve signed up on the DHL website to track deliveries but it’s only showing the Apple one. This conflicts with a text I’ve had.

Of the two I’d far rather have the soundbar today. I’m sure previous Apple deliveries have come via UPS.

Apparently no one has it available for pick up in my state. Where you can just walk in and grab one. Not even my Apple store. And my online orders have been preparing to ship for a day now. Anyone have any luck finding one in store?

Mine was delivered while I was out. DHL followed my delivery instructions and set it up in 5 minutes. Annoyingly you can't use Siri in English if you have the App Store set to France. So I have to have the Apple TV in French to use Siri, which is annoying.

Porch pirates suck! (and they tend to watch for launch day shipments). Always best to hold items at a depot if you have that option with the courier (then pick them up after work) - heh - but I've also seen those be a complete zoo on Apple launch days as well!

If I were you, I'd find a friend to run over there and snag them. (but, hopefully the delivery guy had the wherewithal to not leave them in the middle of the top step and somewhere a little more discrete) - our Amazon guys tend to hide things behind posts on porches, for example.

Definitely faster than the previous model for me personally but appreciate that could be negligible for some.

Remote passed the wife test which is all that matters. Lol

Mine shipped yesterday from PA to NY via UPS Next Day Air Saver. It showed up 20 miles from my house at 1AM, and now is rescheduled for Monday delivery 😣 Oh well, not a huge deal, but I hope Apple gets their shipping money back.

DHL delivered the new Apple TV a couple of hours ago.

I originally had a delivery date set on (Tuesday) the 25th, because Monday is a holiday here in Norway, but this morning I got an unexpected "out for delivery" notice, and shortly after that it was delivered.

Just set it up, and even if I haven't watched anything, yet, I can see that this is a MUCH better match for my (new-ish) LG OLED65CX. It was just fine with an old Apple TV HD and some random HDMI cables, but now - with the Apple TV 4K and matching UHD HDMI cables - it's a whole other world, image wise.

Cannot wait to see Star Wars Bad Batch ep. 4, Solar Opposites 2.7 and the last two episodes of Alice in Borderland this evening.

I had an original date of June 2 to 7 and now UPS is showing as out for delivery. UPS usually shows up late afternoon so I’ll be using it tonight.

All 4 of the closest Apple stores to me have stock today - so if you DO want to set it up over the weekend and have an Apple store nearby, you could order one (NOW), flag it for express pickup at the store and have it to play with over the weekend (then just return the other one when it arrives).

Yep - we've seen this often - UPS gets overwhelmed and there's lots of mistakes.

I needed to login to all crap again... but all apps are automatically installed. But I guess it's not apples fault?? more the apps... I mean netflix etc.

I believe it's the "One Home Screen" setting - previously called Home Screen Sync. Under settings, Users & Accounts, then click on your default user - should be on that page. That's what ensures all of your apps and layout are mirrored.

One of the reviews I saw said that you hold your iPhone near the new Apple TV after you power it on and you'll be prompted to do an express setup on your iPhone.

Yes, you still need to login to all of your apps - it doesn't, unfortunately, backup those credentials to the cloud (definitely an area that Apple needs to address).

Edit: Now that I think about it - they have all of those credentials (for most of us) already in Apple's keychain. They could have easily used the website references for internet passwords to pre-fill the credentials from the phone.
