I’ve had my XS since late October.

Sadly I realized that my battery health dropped to 99% sometimes in April and then suddenly to 97% in Jun.

Up until then I had never ran out of juice on my XS, but last week I decided to perform “calibration”, as I thought maybe it didn’t show the % correctly anymore or whatever. So I charged it fully then let it discharge until it turned off. Then I fully recharged it and to my frustration the health now further dropped to 95%.

I’m not happy about that considering I’ve been taking pretty good care of my phone/battery all along... 🙁

As far as I know occasional battery calibration is recommended, just not too often. Though now I feel as though I shouldn’t have done it - not even this once.

What’s your battery health?

96% on XS with Apple Battery case. Has had it since Nov 2018.

Edit: i am heavy user.

I've had my Xs since October of last year. As of yesterday, the battery health is at 95%. I'm still able to make it easily through the day before I charge it overnight. I'd consider myself a moderate user as well (no battery case on the device either).

XS purchased used within two weeks of the original release date. I use around 85% brightness without auto dim turned on and I have 92% battery. (Currently on the latest Dev Build of iOS 13)

XS Max since launch day.
I use the Apple 29w fast charger.

Those with the health of 95% or less: do you often let your phone battery die or let the charge drop below 20%?

Not sure how much that matters anymore, as in my case I don’t often let it go below 20% before charging it...

XR here. I've had it since February and it's at 97% but I still get 22-25 hours out of the battery easily. I use an Asus 18W Type C to Lightning charger at home, a 12W iPad block on the go and a 24W USB 3.0 in my car, brightness I only turn up to half way when outside, then all the way down when inside as I have sensitive eyes and run Bluetooth in my car and run a set of Beats. I turn on Low power mode at 35% and the lowest I've gotten my phone down to is 10%. I usually plug in around 20-25%.

I should add, I have location turned off on apps I do not use much, and "only while using this app" on the most used. I use black wallpapers too, to conserve power and having Verizon, I rarely connect to Wi-Fi.

100% on Xs Max since January/February (initially a launch day but was replaced with a brand new one).

I charge my phone to about 80% and don't let it drop below 20-30%. I feel like this has helped a lot.
Plus I try to keep it as cool as possible but that's almost impossible. I also use the regular charger that comes with the phone. No wireless or fast charging.

Launch Day Xs - 96%

Given 0 regard to battery health tho. Nightly wireless charging, regularly plugged into my car for music, get down to 20-30% every day.

100% on Xs purchased in March. Confirmed capacity is north of 2700 mAh by Coconut Battery, so more like 101% or whatever.

Charged nightly using 7.5W wireless charger.

I have three XS Max phones. One bought on october 29th and the other two christmas week. All are still at 100%. I only charge these when they get to 5% and then all the way to 100% using the iPad pro 18 watt charger.

I’m a very heavy user and my launch day XS is at 94% now. I upgrade every year, though, so I haven’t given much thought to it, tbh.
