Mine as at about 93%. The problem is I am a light user, My X never went down from 100%. The battery life on this phone is noticeably worse as well. I will be taking it in sooner or later and requesting a replacement.

They won’t replace a battery on 93% health, usually under 80% gets you a replacement otherwise 7% loss in a year they won’t consider bad, although they can run some other tests to make sure all is as it should be.
 
My 8 1/2 month old XS Max shows as 100%, and its maximum capacity (according to Coconut Battery) is still just slightly over the maximum capacity according to the specs.
My iPhone goes on a charging stand every night, generally it's not below 60% or so.
Not sure if that's best for battery life but that's the routine.
