I'm 27.1 which is overweight but I'm in training at the moment for some track championship in a few months. It's not fat thankfully. 🙂

5'8" and 151 pounds = 23 on the BMI meter. I am pleased with that plus my weight loss, which has now managed to remain steady for one year.

Mine is 21.9 🙂 A *healthy* figure. I have been doing a bit of weights and jooging lately, so hopefully that will increase a bit in a good way 😉

(6 foot and 210 lbs)

Think I'm second so far 😱

Um.....probably not. I think you missed Jessica's claim of 68.

Not sure about that one, though. As someone who's 5'10" tall, I'd have to weigh 475 lbs to have a BMI of 68. And a person who's 5'2" woudl have to be around 370 lbs to have such a BMI. 😕

Dang ... mine was 19.4 and I though I was the lowest for a moment .... still, must gain slightly less weight

*goes to the gym .... only less often*

32-35 depending on my weight. I've been in the upper ranges for a while since I don't play hockey up at school

The only mammal with such a BMI breathes through a blowhole in its head 😀

Apparently you've never watched Springer. 😛

And I don't even have to be talking about the guests. Ever look at his studio audience?

I have lost 21 pounds in the last couple of months
I have the exact BMI and have lost the exact amount of weight in about the same time. Now that's a coincidence.

I'm considered overweight or obese whichever is above normal, except that i lift 3to4 days a week and have been for 4 years, so my bodyfat is 9% i kinda doubt i'm "overweight."

I'm 5'8 and 165.

22.3

Is it wrong that I miss when I was considered underweight? 😱 I have gained a quite a bit of weight the last 4 years (I blame it on my boyfriend who has spoiled me rotten/fat). 😛

I think though what people are missing is that being really heavy and in shape is not entirely as healthy as being thin and in shape, in terms of long-term viability of organs. Sure you can be solid and have low body fat, and that's obviously better than being the same weight and out of shape. But I think that in the long run a heart that has to pump blood to 180lbs instead of 160lbs is going to wear out sooner. Or kidneys. Or whatever. Sure Shaq is in shape right now, but I can't really imagine a 7' 350+lbs guy living to say, 70 (although the fact that he has access to the best of all possible medical care offsets that a lot, but if he was just his size and say, an wage worker without health insurance, he'd be unlikely live as long as a 5'10" 150lbs person, on average.

24 (5' 10.5", 170 lbs). I used to weigh 200 lbs or more (not sure how high up it got), but I lost 30 lbs last year and I've managed to keep it off.
