Pilot BPS GP Medium in black or blue. Cheap, reliable and very smooth to write with.

Pilot BPS-GP Medium. :D As Mitthrawnuruodo

I right mostly in pencil though. Special when I am working something out.

I once found a pen that was *so* comfortable in use I've been looking for another ever since. It was just a cheapo disposable, but I can't remember the name. I've given up describing it to stationers as they all think I'm mad for wanted a pen that's just so, but only costs a few pence.

Normally I use which ever chewed pen has the least saliva on which is to hand, but I do have a much over-rated 'Fisher Space Pen'. I used to do some technical drawing and never liked the feel of rotring.

Of course if any you want a good source you should try Pen Island's website, I can't remember it right now, but just try it with the normal .co.uk/.com/.org extensions and you should come across it without being to hard.

My favourite is a Pentel Rolling Writer R100. It's a plastic roller ball tip that puts out a very thick black gel and writes real smooth. I used to get them at Office Depot in a box of 12, but they no longer have them. I then went to every other store in town trying to find some and still haven't found any. :(

I've a Dunhill Sidecar Tortoiseshell. It's worth it even just to see the looks from people when they pick it up, it weighs a ton! But I love the solid feel.

Piccie

..and yes, it writes fine too. :p

I had a wooden pen that I turned myself. It is called a Polaris style and is made out of maple and black walnut. Unfortunately, my wife lost it... One of these days I will get around to making another one.

I still have a box of old Sanford Uni-Ball ONYX Micro's but I see I only have 2 left. I have used these pens for a long time. Too bad they stopped making them 5 years ago or so.

I use a Montblanc ballpoint for sketches and rough drafts and a Montblanc rollerball for everything else.

My favorite are Fisher Space Pens. They have many other styles besides the main "bullet" pen, which in my opnion is the best pen in the world. At first it isn't that comfortable but you get over it. Plus it is really great design, in that with the cap on it is about four inches long but when you take it off and put it on the end, it becomes a full length pen. I carry one in my pocket all the time plus it uses a sealed, pressurized refill with special ink that allows it to write on wet surfaces and extreme hot and cold temperatures. Long story short: It has survived several trips through the laundry and not exploded. :)

My favourite pencil are STAEDTLER. In HB. They are great all round pencil. You can sketch, outline, do boarders. Plus they erase easily. :D

Pen: the usual Suspects: Lamy Safari and old Pelican (blue with steel cap)

Pencils:
non mechanic: Faber-Castell 9000 . (That's a capital . )
mechanic: Rotring

I got a question, I work with design and get laser printed pieces I try to write, on them but wont work, what pen can work on glossy laser quality print. I tried gel, ball point and pencils. The only one that works is Sharpie but I think they are to clunky and the fine point dry out fast. Recommendations?

My favorite are gel pens with sturdy grip and Capri Pentel BK94 because I chew those things good and don't fall apart. (Brainstorming works best while chewing.)

Thank you

Pentel Techniclick II

Been using them for years, absolutely fantastic to use. Favorite color is grey. Second choice is Rotring.

Skilcraft - Why? Because they are free at the shop and your tax dollars pay for it :p

I suppose I am unusual in the fact that I mainly write on paper that is 116 x 140 cm in size, so i need a pen with a slightly larger nib than most :)
