I have that one but I never use it :D

I tend to use my Montblanc Meisterstuck rollerball and mechanical pencil most of the time, although I'm not really bothered by using any other pen. As long as it isn't empty or leaky I don't really care.
The Montblanc pens are very comfortable but the fillings last ridiculously short and cost something like $9 each. Lucky for me I don't have to write all that much!

I use my Montblanc Meisterstück rollerball to take notes in school. One refill lasts one semester, and I waste a lot of ink.

one of my all time favorites was this guy:
http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/yhst-7749489752851_1936_20420651

made by lamy.

mostly I would use these roller ball pens that had a grippy thing and said precision on them... can't find them any more anywhere so I usually now use bic rip-offs from the grocery store. $0.78 for 2 dozen.

Hey Howard, that's the Lamy safari and they still make them for the US. You can order them from Lamy USA, which is where I order my ink refills.

There's a significant markup from 9.50 euro to $18, but oh well.

free. as in whatever the drug rep brought this week. trouble is they all have to half full cartridges in, so i keep tossing them and looking for more.

I love a thick nibbed fountain pen (i think that a thin nib makes handwriting look silly) and lamy is my brand of choice at the moment.

i've got exams coming up and as i thought i would be writing for a long period of time i bought a http://www.penagain.com, it takes a while to get used to but in the end its really good! reccomend it for anyone who's got a lot of writing in one sitting.

Stypen!

Went to Spain in 1997 and bought a Stypen fountain pen from a Carefour [sp] in France. It last until 2001 when ink would dry up. I ran some cleaning fluid through the thing and it started working again.
Best pen I ever used. It matured with my own drawing style, I'd flip it over for super thin lines, push down to increase the ink flow. Everyone at school was amazed I could draw with a fountain pen, but it was the only way I knew how! Stopped using it when I went to college.

I called it Monty :)

i love parker pens a lot...they are well made and are so smooth while writing but i prefer cheaper pens a lot coz i tend to loose them very often

I used Parker for backup pens. Their gel cartridges were really smooth and they had very tough cases.
