I think I'm going to take the monthly hit and upgrade my speed, $50 a month for 10mbps down 2mbps up. I can't stand buffering trailers, videos, movies, etc.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4S (64GB))

100Mbps fiber - $35/month. Actual speeds on my iPad are closer to 40Mbps up/down, though. Fast enough.

When I'm out, I use an LTE wifi hotspot (also $35/month) which averages about 10Mbps, so it's enough for Hulu and Netflix, too. Also works well for FaceTime (which is actual the main reason I bought it) ... :)

17 down, 1 up. Slingshot in NZ. I guess having unlimited data is a decent trade off for the slow speeds.

These speeds are crazy! I take it none of you are in the UK?

I just got upgraded and am getting 1.8Mbps down, 1Mbps up :(

16-17/2

Im due for a double speed upgrade though (but apparently as im on a very old tarriff ill be upgraded to 60/5 as thats the slowest VM uk will be doing).

Just waiting now

hi.
It depends how long my dsl modem can take this... i've repaired it twice in a week, so it isn't looking very good...

I have 30/5 with Time Warner Cable but I've clocked much higher speeds up and down with Verizon's LTE network.

Too bad I don't have unlimited with them anymore. :(

I'm in the UK with Virgin Media I get 105mbps down 10mbps up 24hrs a day using my Netgear WNDR3700 router. This router has never crashed or frozen on me since I had it around 2yrs ago.

Doing a speed test on my iPad 3 64gb 4G the best I can get is 30mbps down and 10mbps up. My iPhone 4S 64gb get's around 27mbps down and 10mbps up.

More than quick enough for streaming and downloading massive apps :)

i bet none of you come from indonesia..
my home connection is 512/128 (its kbps not mbps, and it is bit not byte) and mine isn't the worst connection, most people still rocking 384 kbps dsl..
i can't even watch 360p youtube video without buffering..
and i pay about 30 $ per month..
it is suck to live in third world country..

Like 5/250kb

Strangely enough I rarely run into buffering or slow web page loading, except streaming 1080p is garbage.

I have Time Warner. I get 16 up/ .98 down. And I pay them $48 a months. Sounds a little high to me.

VERY HIGH, i pay $70 for 50/5 (i get 60 or more usually)

call them ask to speak to retention, explain to them that att, and grande communications are cheap per MBPS. they will give you a discount. Mine was $100 a month before then :)
