Rocking this

Virgin said that they will give more speed (100mbs apparently) for free by the end of Q3 I think.

And you all others in UK, I supposed to run 50mbs, so when they will take it up to 100mbs?

Paying for 50/5 from Comcast

Get 61/9 on my MBP C2D with a wireless N Time Capsule...
The iPhone 4 gets 24/9 on the same network... my guess is that it is because of the wireless connection on the iPhone is not as fast as the Airport Card in the Mac...

I pay $35 a month for 50/5 from Astound. I actually see that on my MBP. I just tested the iPad and got about 10/10 with a lot of variability. Depending on the time day speeds are different.

ok, took the plunge:

Verizon Fios - 43 Up / 34 Down

I think I'm guaranteed 35up.

100 down/15 up. July 1 it goes to 250/50.

Tom

(1 TB per month traffic. $50/month for unlimited/unshaped traffic extra which I don't need yet)

Comcast Blast 25/4 with Powerboost... mind you, I'm about 25 feet away with a wall in between my Airport Extreme and my iPad on this test, and I'm still getting the max speed with Powerboost offered by Comcast.

Wifi issue with New iPad

It's my understanding that there is a known issue with wifi on the new iPad. I posted on this the other day and no one responded. There should be a fix from Apple at some point.

Despite the fact that this has not been talked about on this forum, this is something Apple knows about.
